  • This is a step by step tutorial by to an awesome Satisfactory blueprint design for a 2.5 per minute computer factory setup - iron, copper, plastic in and computers out, all in one blueprint!
    Update 7 in Satisfactory brought us blueprints and I have been working on factory setups that simplify some of the more annoying things about building factories, especially working with manufacturers. The ultimate expression of the Satisfactory blueprint is squeezing a whole production into one blueprint - just like this computer factory. It's a one click factory!
    This design in modular, you can string together as many as you want. Each additional 2.5 computers takes only 6 clicks - 1 to put the blueprint down, 4 to hook up belts, 1 to hook up the power
    This is Satisfactory design will be awesome in a standalone computer factory or as part of a supercomputer factory.
    This tutorial will give you some Satisfactory tips on how to be organized and squeeze a lot of machines into a small area. I show you how I think about squeezing things into a blueprint.

    excelent build man - just the plastic as a pre made product - alll the other stuff is just extracted ore so ... great, really great man.

    These one-click factories are awesome! I've been adapting the concept for vertical tower manifolds and moving sub-parts between towers on conveyors for more complex parts. I'd never have guessed you'd find a way to build something as complex as a computer from ore in one blueprint!

      Thanks morsey! That sounds pretty awesome. Conveyors between towers always looks pretty cool. It is fun to try and figure fitting this stuff in

      @@DrLootCrate I'm relatively new, but one friend I play with is at the point where he'd rather avoid clipping and floating stuff. I figure we all get to that point eventually

      Haha thanks pope! They did show one of my vids on their stream 2 months ago, but it was goofy one about a factory cart World Cup

    Question:
    Can you use a blueprint to form a blueprint?
    When you had the 3 assemblers to set up, if you setup 1 of them with the corresponding splitters/mergers and save it as its own blueprint, can you paste the other two into the mainbuild blueprint?

    • @DrLootCrate
      @DrLootCrate  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can! In fact I start most of my blueprints by dropping in a 4x4 foundation blueprint

    What is that at 31:00 just cleaving that elevator right in half with a belt! You are truly evil!

    • @DrLootCrate

      Dude! I didn't even notice! eagle eye. When I had to do some quick surgery to get things to line up at the end, I must have moved the machine 1 notch up without noticing.
      That violates my core principles!

  • @XadeGrimm
    @XadeGrimm ปีที่แล้ว

    you can fix the splitter issue with temp foundations just erase them after you place the spliter

    I did this build but with an Extra 2 Constructors on the floor with Copper Wire and Circuit Boards to make 20 more Copper Sheets so id minimize the amount of Power cells needed by 4. The caviat to this was my build is clipping gruesomely in some areas but i made no effort to alleviate the issue since it doesnt bother me

    You know what would be like super cool, being able to import and export blueprints, or atleast share them between people on multiplayer servers

    i would prefer to use glass foundations and deal with the minor clipping instead of roofs but otherwise this is excellent!

    29:04 Why on earth would you, when overclocking where you need more than one shard, and have more than one machine, not spread the shards out for better power efficiency?

    • @DrLootCrate
      @DrLootCrate  ปีที่แล้ว

      Because I have 50 GW of power! That power saved doing that means nothing to me, but if it means something to you, by all means adapt the design to do so

    Good job! But I prefer to build smelters array next to miner and never transport raw resources, only ingots (plastic, rubber, etc.). So, the 1st floor is useless for me :)
    I also usually build technical 0th floor for underground conveyors and other communications between blocks
    Also always including floor foundations make life easier

      My blueprints file themselves are reserved for my awesome patreons. Check the link in the description if you are interested.
      If you aren’t into that, no problem. You just got free instructions on how to do it yourself.
