I suppose it's more underrated as in a lot of people still haven't seen it yet but it is facing off against Christmas movies that have been around for 30-40+ years (some much older) so it will take a few years yet before it gets it's recognition as an all time great christmas movie but I'd say by 2030 you'll see it in the top 10 of every "great Christmas movie" list

I will forever be in your debt.
at the end when Klaus becomes the winter snow to be with his beloved had me in tears. and does so every time. Destine to become a timeless classic if ever there was such. ~_~
Klaus still has the best animation i know of, even the latest Disney films can't compare to this art style. Especially since they no longer do traditionally animated films.
I have actually never heard of this movie but the music video and everything is so beautiful I can already see the creators of this movie has put ALOT of heart and love into this and it really shows.

Speaking of Disney; Klaus was directed by Sergio Pablos as he did work on The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, Hercules, and Tarzan. James Baxter has animated the characters for Klaus as he was the supervisor animator on Disney characters like Belle, Rafiki and Quasimodo.
I came across this movie one time. And I never forgot about it will always have a special place in my heart. This a movie that should be shared with everyone not just children but adults as well.
