yes it is best gpu but it will bottlenech a bit . i will suggest you to go with 750ti or 560 this would be a great combo

What you did only stops one of the cores from getting used so the cpu doesnt work on full potential but wheres the benefit into it i wonder 🤔
due to stoping cores it automatically decrease cpu usage
