I adore Nick Pitera! He was asked by Ellen Degeneres "who's in there with you?" when he appeared as one of her audience performer thingies (never really watched Ellen, just saw the clip from the show!) He's been making music for years and is an animator/modeller for Disney. He also sang the gum commercial jingle in Inside Out. He also does his own music as well as One Man Medleys... Peter Hollens' arrangement of this was incredible and I love that he used some of Nick's range as well. It was fabulous! Great choice of song DJ! Thank you for a fabulous reaction. LOVED seeing the realisation that Nick was actually singing...that felt like a "my brain fried" moment and I loved it!

Nick Pitera is one of my favorite singers and TH-camrs. Also he works at Pixar which is cool! But his range is insane !! If you find his female/high range impressive here that’s nothing compared to his other stuff !! His medleys are incredible especially his One man Disney movie, Phantom of the opera medley, Les Miserables medley, Into the woods medley, Aladdin Medley, Hamilton Medley, Little Shop of Horrors Medley, etc
Voiceplay's Wicked medley wins for me, but this is a very close second! I love that you got your introduction to Nick Pitera! His Les Misérables medley is absolutely mindblowing. His Phantom of the Opera has a similar vibe, but with fewer clones, and it's all the different voices that make his Les Mis so brilliant to me. Also, keep his This Is Halloween in mind for October, it's a lot of fun.
Nick got famous for singing The Prayer as a duet as both Celine Dion and Andrea Bocceli and SLAYING it. He can do baritone, he can do soprano...he can do it all. AND...I don't know if this is still true, but I believe he used to actually work AT Disney in some way.

My other favorites are his medleys like Les Miserables, Little Shop of Horrors, one man Disney Movie, ect. His medleys require multiple watches since the characters respond to each other during different sections.

He's worked on toy story 4, turning red, and many others. He also voices minor characters in some disney films like Rileys imaginary boyfriend in inside out. I'm surprised you didn't react to Nick Pitera's version of the video. It's pretty much the same video except at the very end of Defying Gravity, in Nick's video, they swap places and Nick sings it instead. You should check that out.
"For Good" is my favorite. You should look up Peter Gibbons male duet cover. When they get to the climax of "Defying Gravity", both men are in their falsetto range, which tends to not have such a brassy tone. Might be breathy or sweet like theirs, but few baritones will have that brassy belt.
