I love to see your smiling face! Since my mother passed away in June, I have been unable to create, but am now back on the table working on another coptic stitch book of quirky collage characters. It seems to be the format I like best. I have yet to try the packing tape transfer, but think I'll give it a try. Thank you, LM, for being a light shining in the darkness. You have brought back a small flame of joy to my life.

i think you might be right....i revisited this piece and i think the little collage on the bottom of the page must break it up for my eyes...i had intended to put a little somethin' somethin' on it to cut the shine...then decided to leave it alone...so there you have it...i am going to tuck the 'gesso' idea in my pocket for another time paula....go create, go play, go have fun!!!

i guess the glare really bothered some of our villagers..so i do what i can...right? thank you brittany for the support...and the new glasses are for the computer work only...i still wear the others for everything else...see you on the table brittany!
This is beautiful. I have always soaked the packing tape and the back just slides off. Some rubbing not much so there is hardly residue at all. Love the look. Thanks for a great one -Marsha
The whole point of using a scotch tape is to transform that image into a sticker. Once it dries and after you peeled off the entire paper from it, it should become sticky again, so I really have a hard time understanding why did you have to use that white paste that you used.
okay.....i have watched the video and.....my tape was not sticky so i had to rely on the paste to make the image stick....i hope that answers your question su....go create, go play, go have fun!@@suzilici

Excellent results for the tape transfer. The only think I don't like is the shine but I am thinking a coat of clear gesso would deal with that 😊

Tried the packing tape transfer. Must have done a step wrong. Ink and paper both rubbed off. Help!!
magazine image, laser print, ink jet print...which did you start with evelyn?? we will figure this out!!!

I used just regular printer paper also. When rubbing the paper off ink came off as well. I have a nice blue pointer finger..lol
