Not only is it disgusting that he walked away from her screaming, he went to her friend and casually commented about her being potentially SAd absolutely vile
Honestly I hope Derrick desperately needs help one day and everyone just leaves him. Absolutely disgusting behavior. Props to Tynisha’s friend for not hesitating to go check on her. I think Derrick and the record label needed to be held accountable for their parts in this tragedy.
@@Angel-jn3gjto be fair, he hadn’t showed any signs of being dangerous before this happened, if anything the drug dealer roommate is the bad one for raising his children in environment where all the adults are taking hard drugs and distributing them.

My mother was schizophrenic, and, honestly, during one of her breaks, this makes sense. Like how he neatly folded his clothes before taking his walk. My mom once obsessively folded the sheets of my bed, in front of me, and then pulled out a knife, stabbed my arm, and demanded to know where I had kidnapped myself to and accused me of being an alien who replaced her daughter. So, this kinda makes sense to me that he might have imagined the pit, but it was him. And the blackout makes sense to me too
The man who walked away and left that woman screaming is absolutely evil. I hope he feels guilt for the rest of his life, knowing that if he had done the right thing that he could’ve saved her. Men like him disgust me.
Soon as Eleanor mentioned PCP I was like 'Yup. I see why he ate his roommate'. Totally agree about Derrick being a coward. Absolutely disgusting just walking away like that. I hope he feels some guilt
He doesn't have to feel guilt.... He already proofed how useless and worthless he is. I just hope his surroundings keep remembering him, cause ppl like that can excuse anything with their delusions.
Do you know what I think it’s super messed up? Someone had to help him get back out of the apartment, so how did they not hear what was going on as well? Someone should’ve done something but I think you’re less than a human for being a coward. You might be less than human if you eat someone’s face off though.
I will never understand how ANYONE would volunteer to smoke/ingest PCP. I remember hearing a story of a woman smoking PCP and putting her newborn baby in the oven, switched it on and "cooked" her baby. Her neighbours called the police because of the smell of the baby burning to death. Big Lurch knew how it affected him and still did it. I understand he had a lot going on but you can't blame others for taking drugs especially when BL took it before and ended up having a full psychotic break. RIP to the victim.
I wonder if he thought he became a dog while high. I mean, he was barking. Maybe the pit bull thing was real to him. This whole thing is disturbing. I can’t fathom the victim’s mom finding him innocent. Great storytelling on a tragic case. Don’t do drugs kids. Rest in peace, Tynisha.
I think this is what happened even weed for some people like myself is dangerous I genuinely think he has no knowledge of what he did but because he did it he should do the time
@@luxurypetscz I wasn’t a regular user but it’s completely possible. I knew someone who would think he was a three year old, this was a huge macho guy most of the time, when he got dusted. Time didn’t pass the same, I didn’t feel like I was inside my body but at the same time I felt like I was trapped inside myself and could only envision myself wriggling like a grub. I just know I screamed for hours because a friend was there who hadn’t gotten laced. I’m sure regular use of it blurs things even more between reality and psychosis
PCP is such a dangerous substance. A young woman lost her life, two young kids lost their mother and a man became a monster because of it. To think that perhaps had he not been thrown out by his health insurance before being completely healed none of this would have happened. Just awful
You're absolutely correct. If you look up the history of strong pain killers and why/how they were prescribed and created drug addicts all over the US. They can cut people off of legal medication, and when people are still in pain, they feel like they can't function without them. And street drugs are cheaper but dangerous. The government and the insurance companies could easily win the "war on drugs," but it's better to control the population by keeping them addicted and criminal.
While he is guilty I believe this falls on the insurance companies/medical industry. They set him up to fail. While they couldn’t have known what would happen, they are fully aware how these withdrawals & pain management issues cause.
Yeah I can't help but feel that this wouldn't have ever happened if our healthcare system was better functioning as well as regulations/monitoring these big companies that ruin people's lives. This is the extreme story of neglect on average citizens. We always hear stories of people's addictions developing due to hospitals as well as people in the industry being fed stuff to make them moldable and overworked. He was the victim of both. It's really sad. Not to say he didn't play a part in his own demise, but those 2 things insured this timeline of events...
It’s not even just the victims either! So many people online are feeling qualified to try and delve into some of my favorite content creators’ personal lives, and I’m really turned off by it. Like, if you’re not dating someone, how is their personal life or recovery or whatever super personal thing, any of your business, you know? And then, some of the creators get really bogged down trying to prove themselves to folx who’ve never even met them. Ok, rant complete
The fact that the doctors didn't release him with a weaning plan off the morphine is criminal. That pain is intense. I know for a fact that withdrawals are hell.
Two things can be true at the same time. Her boyfriend being abusive AND Antron killing and mauling her. My dad was a cop and he told me of people on PCP getting shot multiple times and still running at them, trying to kill them. PCP can "turn" people into zombies with the violence and weird desire to rip and chew flesh.
I'd go one step further and say 'Three things can be true at the same time'. His lawyer probably DID fuck up his case on purpose. Well, fucked it up on purpose is probably the wrong term to use, because there wasn't much any lawyer could have done to even try to salvage anything about this case in the first place. But I do believe he didn't really give a fuck about even trying to make things better for his client. If he did, he would have just incriminated himself so he probably did take the opportunity to strike a deal with the prosecution.
I always find it extra sad when the murderer has convinced their victims family they didn’t do it despite all of the evidence. That’s manipulation on another level
Yeah that threw me a little. How is it her boyfriends fault? I mean yes he was the dealer BUT he is not the one that stabbed, ripped and ate her. So disgusting!

This is actually such a sad case when you realize that a series of events set in motion by pure chance that, had those events never happened, probably wouldn’t have ended the way it did. Imagine where and who Antron could be if someone hadn’t driven drunk and crashed into him. Or if his insurance never dropped his care. Or if he had the support to fight against withdrawal so he never turned to hard drugs to self medicate for his pain. It’s absolutely insane that he came within an inch of dying and then within an inch of being paralyzed only to go on to do what he did. He was so lucky to make it out alive and more able-bodied than he could’ve been.. just to end up murdering someone. Damn.

Despite how long this video is, it’s very misinformed and is missing a lot of details. All the bloody fingerprints, handprints, and foot prints at the murder scene did not belong to Lurch. That same night, Taneisha was planning on leaving her abusive boyfriend. Not to mention that his lawyer( who also was the owner of his record label) didn’t represent him correctly and just made him plead insanity. What Taneishas mother believed is that her boyfriend killed her, and Lurch being in his delusional state, saw her body as meat and began consuming her. Because he did in fact eat parts of her, they charged him with the murder.I’m not saying he didn’t or did do it, but he must definitely deserves a retrial

i know that everyone handles situations differently but as a victim of rape it infuriates me that derrek could have saved tenisha and didn’t. he was 100% able to make a difference. literally disgusting
I had to write a huge essay in high school on PCP for chemistry class. The teacher wanted ALL the details. Everything we could find. One part of it was to find a case in the news past or present that involved the drug we were assigned to research (each of us had a different drug.) I found a case similar to this where a couple while high on PCP had started to eat each other while alive and conscious. Just grabbed a knife and took turns cutting chunks and feeding each other. In the end he very very violently SA'd her and beat her to death. The details were gruesome and just horrifying. The guy ended up jumping off a 20 story building. It scared the crap out of me researching it. This research project was our teacher's way of teaching us how horrid drugs are and why we don't want to do them. It worked on most of us. My insurance tried to tell me my terminal cancer was a pre-existing condition so they wouldn't pay for anything after the initial surgery. So yeah, the insurance here is horrid.
My aunt and 4 yo cousin were murdered by someone who was high on PCP in 2007. That day has forever changed my life. As you can imagine, I absolutely cannot stand being around anyone who is on PCP. P.S. The stench of that drug is horrid and highly detectable. If you smell it you instantly know what it is. Most major cities in the US has a high rate of PCP users. It’s truly horrible

And it makes you hallucinate and makes you see things that aren't there. And PCP stays in your spinal cord for the rest of your life. When people who take PCP and they crack their backs, they can start feeling the high of the PCP that's in their spine. It's so dangerous !
It was hard listening to what happened to Tanisha. Probably one of the most horrifying things I've heard so far. Her poor babies I hope they are doing well and are safe now
I am a paraplegic with severe nerve pain who became addicted to opiates. In my opinion, I don't think he sought out PCP solely for pain management. Opiates are much easier to get a hold of and a much more reliable way of managing pain. I think he was an extremely low point and sought out something that could detach him from his reality, especially considering he knew the dissociative effects of PCP had on him in the past. I think his emotional and physical pain was greater than his ability to reason.
They r a lot more expensive tho, babe. & This was 20 yrs ago in Texas, maybe opiates were hard to find.**& BTW I am awfully sorry to hear about ur predicament. Good luck, hun.
@NyxAfterDark hi!! Yes I will admit I have no idea what the drug market was back then or even what it's like in Texas today. When i mentioned opiates i wasnt specific but i meant heroin. I'm also thinking about what happened in the 2000s with Pfizer and the pushing of opiates medically and wonder if thaf had happened yet? Could he have just gone to a corrupt clinic like so many eventually did? I would have liked to have heard more about Tynisha and the reactions of the boyfriend? What did he think about what happened? Was he surprised? Where the hell did he go? I still have lots of questions, this case is insane!
Me too. Whose teeth were on her body that wasn't his? Why does her family think the rapper didn't do it? Why were the kids not home? Why did the label even call him back? Did the boyfriend know the victim was about to leave him because he was abusive? How did a gangster label turn in incriminating music unreleased and why? It seems so open & shut BUT I don't like loose ends.
I’ve been scrolling through these comments trying to find someone who also WANTS TO KNOW WHERE THE BOYFRIEND WENT and why he left???? Like it’s so weird how he randomly walked out and like nothing else was known of him??
At first I felt kinda bad for Antron, but as the case goes on I’m just not really buying the whole “I was out of my mind on pcp” thing. Reasons being 1. He had taken PCP before to the point of being hospitalized, but had never tried to kill and eat someone else before. 2. He WAITED until Thomas had left and then specifically went after Tynisha. 3. The fact that his PCP levels were 5 nano grams away from being negligible. 4. Him telling Derrick that he’s gonna “go get some p*ssy” and targeting Tynisha shows his OWN intent. Maybe Tynisha rejected his advances and he “snapped” bc of the PCP but either way, there was some vile and heinous shit going on that had nothing to do with PCP.
Agreed. I'd say that the biggest role the PCP had to play here was making him feel like he *could* do what he wanted to do, rather than causing him directly to do it.
I will also tie in that he is bipolar so I’m assuming even with the little bit of pcp, because remember Thomas and tynisha had as much as him but he felt it harder , like I’m bipolar and tried an edible and hallucinated so I’m assuming maybe his was heightened by his already chemical imbalance
4!!!! Like he went after her with the clear intent to SA her... fully conscious and aware of his surroundings. I can totally imagine him going to r@pe her, get mad that she's defending herself or something, mudering her either on purpose or by accident and then canibalizing her either because of the drugs or to get the insanity plea.
I just... want to point out the PCP could have been laced with something else? AFAIK, you don't just dump a sample into a system and it tells you what drugs someone is on, you have to test for specific ones and considering what PCP is, the police would probablty just stop at that. We also don't even know if the "I'm gonna go get some p_ssy" actually happened, or if he said something else, or eeven nothing at all, and Derrick lied to save his own ass by saying "I thought he was just raping her" like that's better. He does have reason to lie and it's a small enough lie to maintain. Even if it did happen, all it does is show Antron was willing to commit SA or had convinced himself Tynisha was interested, not commit murder and cannibalism. Antron also never showed these tendencies when sober, or at any other time when he had zero control, so why would he suddenly just decide to do this if not because of the drugs? IMO it makes sense if there was something wrong with the angel dust that wasn't tested or that had already been through his system by the time he was picked up by the police.

I think it's interesting that he was "barking like a dog" when the officers came to arrest him and then he later blamed it on a pitbull in court. Maybe the pitbull was inside him all along...
As a writer, I totally agree with not using lyrics and art against people in court. I presented a paper on how Oscar Wilde’s Picture of Dorian Gray was used against him in court and it was just completely barbaric. I am a super positive person and a lot of people who read my writing ask why it’s so dark. I have killed so many characters but I wouldn’t dream of doing it in real life!
exactly. people are always looking for parallels between the story and the author's real life... it's almost like people cannot imagine that a writer actually uses their imagination to make stuff up...

You can’t call anonymously unless you call from a pay phone/someone else’s phone or call a third party like crimestoppers which is not an emergency service. 911 will record your phone number and they can trace it to you
Fr, all he had to do was make one anonymous call down at a pay phone by the apartments, not traceable back to him, could have also called her boyfriend to tell him and let him deal with it but he chose to let her be SA'd, sure maybe he didn't know she would die but he knew she was being SA'd at the very least. this is devastating i sympathise so painfully with everyone in this case the fact he knew what it does to him but felt he had no other choice is so heartbreaking
I don't want to speculate too much on the victim's mother, but I suspect she just simply can't accept the horrid thought of her child being tortured and her body desecrated by someone who was essentially a stranger. It is probably easier for her to believe her daughter was killed by a literal animal set on her by a man she was involved with who treated her badly, which probably softens the horror a tiny bit.
Late reply, but after doing research on the incident, I don't think it's just bias that makes the victim's mother skeptical about Lurch's involvement. First of all, the bite marks on the body didn't match Lurch's dental records. Therefore, how could he physically consume her meat without having to bite her. Keep in mind, this guy was blasted out of his mind on PCP, so I highly doubt he somehow intricately and delicately managed to get her meat in his mouth without biting or using any tools such that there was no trace. Speaking of tools, the supposed murder weapon that was found at the scene didn't even match. Therefore, she was murdered by a weapon that was either disposed of or simply never existed. If there was no foul play involved, the only other option is that lurch somehow successfully disposed of the weapon whilst being so high on drugs he could roam the streets bloody and naked, or she was killed by another weapon by someone else that was disposed of. Additionally, the whole ordeal took place in a dope house that was supposedly stashed with drugs. When the police arrived, no drugs were found which means that somebody had cleared them out. Between a guy strung out on PCP who somehow miraculously disposed of the murder weapon too, and a woman that was already dead, the only logical conclusion is that foul play is involved. Therefore, whilst lurch obviously did consume her meat, as it was found when he had his stomach pumped, it's highly implausible that he murdered her, successfully disposed of the murder weapon, cleared out evidence which could have incriminated others for no reason at all, whilst also somehow eating her without having to bite into her. He obviously consumed her meat, and the mother knows that. She just has the common sense to know that it was physically impossible for him to have killed her the way she was killed, and that foul play had to be involved.
th-cam.com/video/QyxXEuWkwSE/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared The mom isn't coping or delusional. Being the mother of the victim she obviously knows what evidence was brought up against antron, and is probably the most knowledgeable about this situation besides the actual lawyers and judges.

I cannot believe that Tynishas own parents thank that Antron didn’t do anything and we’re actually on his side. And the fact that she was in an abusive relationship and was ready to leave said relationship but couldn’t because she was sadly murdered before she could makes this case all the more heartbreaking.

On the insurance bit, my niece was hospitalized for intense abdominal pain (so bad they were testing her for colon cancer and actually found a mass) and then once they determined the condition (thankfully not cancer) causing it, her doctor prescribed her a newer medication that works very well for her condition. Her insurance said she had to go through months of more invasive treatment that her doctor believed wouldn’t work for her before they would cover it. Each injection is a few hundred dollars without coverage, and her pharmacy *refused to fill it* without insurance. So they basically said no, you can’t have this treatment even though you’re bleeding out of places that shouldn’t bleed. Insurance companies, pharmacies, and even sometimes doctors themselves will tell you no, you can’t have that lifesaving medication you need. No, actually you get to suffer. No, we think you’re addicted to the meds that help you function so you can’t have them. It’s very disheartening.

@@amberkat8147 The whole concept of insurance has always been based on a scam. The only way they get money is to take in more money from people than they will ever pay back out to them. Abolish health insurance altogether and make prices affordable for the average person. Heck, make the prices based on income so the rich pay their part and the poor still get the care they need at a price they can pay. No one should ever be in debt or not receive the care they need to live just because they aren't rich, especially when most of the things they need help for are things they couldn't control. Whether someone lives or dies shouldn't ever be based on how much money they have at that moment in time.
Yeah. I've experienced judgement from pharmacists and pharmacists who refused to fill a prescription even though it was for me, from the doctor, and not a new prescription, it was just a different pharmacist because I wasn't close to home. I don't think pharmacists should have the power to refuse filling ANY medication if it's a legit prescription and the correct time to refill it. It's infuriating how much judgement is passed on multiple levels in the medical field. I also think it's inhumane to not give pain medication, if someone's in pain, simply because of their "past prescriptions or use". This is one reason I hate how nowadays our medical records are in the network and follow us.
My dad used to be an Air Force cop. Once he was called to break up a party and there was a teenage girl there on angel dust. She'd chewed her own finger off and swallowed it. She had to go to the hospital to have it removed.
The "Is the pitbull in the room right now?" comment Eleanor made had me dying. On another note, damn this was horrible to hear. That's such a gruesome way to die. PCP is so dangerous.
Wait, but what happened to Derek? Did he ever get into trouble for not reporting what was happening to Tanisha before she was killed?? Is that even illegal for him to not do anything 😐
i don't know if, legally, the POLICE could charge him with anything. but Tynisha's parents could 100% sue him for something - don't know what, but a case could be made
It's so upsetting that this could have been prevented with healthcare systems that genuinely care about patients. If he wasn't in constant pain he wouldn't have met her boyfriend and never met her and he'd have never been on PCP to harm anyone. Having chronic pain, I understand the frustration and desire to do anything to make it stop.
My ex was a cop. One night I asked him and his buddies why they didn't just shoot a person in the knee. They all told stories that were pretty horrible that the PCP puts them in a place where they might not even feel pain and they will keep coming at you and put the cop's life in danger. It's a state very similar to extreme psychosis.
Also, a knee is a MUCH smaller target than a torso. It’s a lot more likely you’ll miss if you’re aiming for the knee and hit something/ someone else completely by accident. Not saying it doesn’t happen when aiming for a torso, it’s just less likely

The fact that the record label were never held accountable for giving him the pcp is ridiculous. Also, the insurance company that didn’t pay for the medical bills could’ve prevented this in the first place!
As someone that suffers from Bipolar Disorder Type II, I find it reprehensible when those caught having committed horrific crimes claim to want to use the “insanity defence”. It adds to the stigma that anyone with actual mental health issues are possibly violent.
Um, as someone with Bipolar disorder, you should know that folks with Bipolar Disorder can suffer from psychosis AND therefore wouldn’t be criminally responsible for their actions. The fact that you see this as an “excuse” actually stigmatizes those with this disorder who struggle with this symptom.
@@wackybrattyxeverybody’s experience is different. their point being: mental illness doesn’t always usually cause someone to be extremely and astronomically violent just because.
@@beautiful10381 Huh…well, OBVIOUSLY. How does that refute my point that PSYCHOSIS (where the person isn’t fully control of their actions) is experienced by people who have Bipolar Disorder, including someone who may act out of character and commit a violent act.

I Don't Beelive that to be True but ok a different take
i still find it crazy it’s legal to rip someone off of a pain killer just like that like that’s a disaster and addicted waiting to ahppen

We always hear stories of people's addictions developing due to hospitals as well as people in the industry being fed stuff to make them moldable and overworked. He was the victim of both.

At first I felt kinda bad for Antron, but as the case goes on I’m just not really buying the whole “I was out of my mind on pcp” thing. Reasons being
@@KittyCat260 yes I 100% agree with that
I will also tie in that he is bipolar so I’m assuming even with the little bit of pcp, because remember Thomas and tynisha had as much as him but he felt it harder , like I’m bipolar and tried an edible and hallucinated so I’m assuming maybe his was heightened by his already chemical imbalance
I feel so bad for her friend for seeing something so gruesome, like the amount of damage that image probably did to her is so sad.

I think it's interesting that he was "barking like a dog" when the officers came to arrest him and then he later blamed it on a pitbull in court. Maybe the pitbull was inside him all along...
he got that dawg in him
Yeah if I’m remembering correctly Austin harrouff also thought he was a dog when he attacked and ate that couple
I thought that as soon as she said “is the pit bull in the room with us right now?” I was like wait…. That could literally explain half of this
As a writer, I totally agree with not using lyrics and art against people in court.
I love Oscar Wilde so much 😭
Writer or not, it's clearly just a lame attempt at (non-literary) character assassination which is always BS.
exactly. people are always looking for parallels between the story and the author's real life... it's almost like people cannot imagine that a writer actually uses their imagination to make stuff up...
ellie! im from brazil and a case that happened here in 2008 are being spoken a lot again because netflix made a documentary. isabella nardoni was a 6yo girl who was killed by her father and stepmother, being thrown out of the window from the 6th (if im not mistaken) floor. they said she fell but police found out she was suffering from abuse before that and it certainly wasnt an accident, as they told. you should look it up!
I found it so hard to heard cases about kids. Poor little girl.

Alyssa is the real hero! I feel for her having to find Tyneshia like that. Derrick is a b1tC$ for not at least calling the police…even if he didn’t say who he was and just did an anonymous call. She most likely could have been saved. 😢
Absolutely human trash

How could the neighbors NOT hear her screams!?
this is devastating i sympathise so painfully with everyone in this case the fact he knew what it does to him but felt he had no other choice is so heartbreaking
She just has the common sense to know that it was physically impossible for him to have killed her the way she was killed, and that foul play had to be involved.
th-cam.com/video/QyxXEuWkwSE/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
The mom isn't coping or delusional. Being the mother of the victim she obviously knows what evidence was brought up against antron, and is probably the most knowledgeable about this situation besides the actual lawyers and judges.

The best assessment of the American Health care system that I’ve heard in a bit…
What happened to Tisha is so sad, and to think how Derrick could've possibly saved her is so infuriating (sorry if I spelled her name wrong)
As someone who plans on getting a roommate in the future sometime this decade, I find this case just absolutely abysmal.
I literally just said to myself, “I’ve seen everything… I don’t have any new stories to watch today…” Thanks for always having our back Eleanor! 💚
I’ve honestly never had a case that has me so undecided on what to believe. I think the blame lies with so many people but I just have so many questions about so much surrounding it. Thanks so much Eleanor, this was so thorough and well researched. You always do such an amazing job, we are all very grateful 💚
This is such a horrific case, and so sad that it could have potentially been avoided had he not been thrown out the hospital. PCP is such a terrifying substance, it turns people into monsters. Good LORD. I listen to a lot of true crime, and not many of the cases faze me. This one, however, was genuinely stomach-turning. My heart goes out to poor Tynisha, may she rest in peace. The contrast between Alyssa's incredible bravery and Derrick's cold-blooded apathy is insane. I hope she's okay, and I hope he gets what he deserves. And the fucking NERVE of that record company to shamelessly try to profit off such a gruesome tragedy!!!
Great job, Eleanor and team! Beautifully presented and researched as always.
I cannot believe that Tynishas own parents thank that Antron didn’t do anything and we’re actually on his side. And the fact that she was in an abusive relationship and was ready to leave said relationship but couldn’t because she was sadly murdered before she could makes this case all the more heartbreaking.
That's making me think hard. Hmm...the kids weren't home either. And whose teeth marks?
You're detached from this case. Do more research, this stupid video is a regurgitated perspective of a highly complex murder case spewed out by a random young girl who has no business sticking her nose in this case. It feels exploitive.
In the video she mentioned all that wym 😂
@@rickyaburgos well clearly you didn’t watch the video fully, cause she literally mentions all that in the end???

I used to love this rapper. I would look up all the music he was featured in and listen to it just to hear his verses! His work with Mac Dre was particularly good. It’s so wild what he went on to do.
Yeah. I think insurance needs to be entirely redone. It shouldn't be for-profit ever, because it's actually become an evil industry.
@@amberkat8147Yes, but a good doctor should be on the phone with insurance companies to get approval. I have to be very careful here because I get super angry at medical "professionals."or anything to do with corruption in medical yes it's bad & yes people are suffering & dieing because of judgemental policy's. Have a nice day . Hope anyone in need gets proper care. I will leave with that.
This case is so shocking . I’m can’t fathom the victim and what she endured in her last moments 😢
My dad used to be an Air Force cop. Once he was called to break up a party and there was a teenage girl there on angel dust. She'd chewed her own finger off and swallowed it. She had to go to the hospital to have it removed.
what happened after she became sober? was she freaking out to find her finger missing
Is that even illegal for him to not do anything 😐
i don't know if, legally, the POLICE could charge him with anything. but Tynisha's parents could 100% sue him for something - don't know what, but a case could be made
@@crumblyairship they could've sentenced derrick by guilty by association IDK why they didn't
"You say your ex-boyfriend's a policeman, well I say you need better standards" (sorry)

The fact that Derek could've saved Tanisha. Could've done something and he did NOTHING. He should've gotten a sentence too.
You don't have an obligation to save anyone unless you put them in the danger.
@@ssjalpha6593if you PUT someone IN danger, why tf would you help them? You wouldn’t. you’re the one who is causing them harm. Derek DID NOT need to bust down doors and beat up Anton in order to save Tanisha. All he needed to do was call the police, or knock on a neighbor’s door, but no- he just pretended as if he didn’t hear or see anything. He could have saved Tanisha’s life. Tanisha knew Derek was still in the apartment, she was probably so helpless and confused as to why Derek wasnt helping her.. knowing he can hear her

As someone that suffers from Bipolar Disorder Type II, I find it reprehensible when those caught having committed horrific crimes claim to want to use the “insanity defence”. It adds to the stigma that anyone with actual mental health issues are possibly violent.
I don’t have bipolar disorder, but 100% agreed.
@@beautiful10381pretty sure everyone knows that lol
@@beautiful10381 Huh…well, OBVIOUSLY. How does that refute my point that PSYCHOSIS (where the person isn’t fully control of their actions) is experienced by people who have Bipolar Disorder, including someone who may act out of character and commit a violent act.
