Would love to see a video on your job. Last time I remember you mentioning it, you said you were a systems architecht. Would be really cool to hear what that entails and the what's and how's of anything that you can share basically.
Great video, can you show some footage from the camera's and maybe the different models. I see they have both 1080p and 1440p models and both are relatively cheap.
24 camera's,wow! paranoid much (J/K) we have camera's in work mainly for security. I'm thinking of getting something for the home tbh, sounds great this system you have. I've enjoyed watching, thank's for the insight as to what's out there buddy :)
I use Hikivsion but because they are grey market camera's I have them completely isolated and not connected to the Internet. Their NVR is excellent and I just connect an HDMI from the NVR, 2 floors down, to one of the monitors on my main workstation. Nothing for my systems to process. Great video!
Lightning Gamer Synology is an excellent entry point into NAS and the drives can be migrated to a bigger more powerful unit if you decide to upgrade in the future.
Nice vid there adam! It would be cool to make a video about Backup (for all those configurations) and maybe Cloud storage if you re using it ? (all in one vid?) Thanks!
Apparently, the newest build of Windows 10 can now connect to IP Cameras via the Built in Camera App (normally for built in cameras.) docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-insider/at-home/whats-new-wip-at-home-20h1#connecting-network-cameras-to-windows-10-devices-build-18995

Great video. Foscam post sales service is excellent IMHO.
