Thank you Tony. I was married to a “nice guy” who never stood up for me when his family spoke bad about me. I left him and everyone thought I was crazy because he was so nice. No matter how many nice things he did for me I didn’t feel loved because I felt betrayed. I appreciate someone finally validating me for this.
Going through this for years now. Husband of 22 years lets his family say horrible things about me and I have the screen shots and he is not remorseful and brainwashed by his narcissistic cult family and is enmeshed with his mother. Sick of it and done with it.
You lovely ladies deserve better. What’s crazy is Mr nice guy turned into Mr Nightmare when I left. He completely dropped the nice guy facade. I was shocked to discover he was a phony for all those years. “Nice guys” like this aren’t nice. They’re users who manipulate you into feeling sorry for them to get what they want out if you and then when you leave and no longer make them feel better about themselves they turn on you in the most brutal way. It shouldn’t have come as a surprise though with the way he didn’t stand up for me when others attacked me. That’s a red flag that underneath it all they don’t care about you. They’re only out for themselves. Let that allow you to feel justified in leaving their sorry asses.

I loss my boyfriend in 2018 to a car accident. And that blew my mind. We had recently broke up but were still very much communicating. And I know that's not a marriage but that hurt was massive. I had to quickly reach out to the Lord and take a look at my son and ask God to please help me because I didn't wanna go to the dark side of depression and being upset with God. I had to ask for understanding at its fullest. As of now I still miss him and I do shed a few tears here and there but I thank God for helping me through it all. May God bless you my sister and all your days to come. Remember, reach for God and believe that he will heal your heart. You have to believe and actually want to be healed. And that doesn't mean you cannot grieve your husband. Just try not to lie in it forever. And think of what your husband would want for you which is happiness.

I had to ask for understanding at its fullest. As of now I still miss him and I do shed a few tears here and there but I thank God for helping me through it all. And that doesn't mean you cannot grieve your husband. Just try not to lie in it forever. And think of what your husband would want for you which is happiness.
