Love your video, It is unique things for me as Indonesian seeing MRT station surrounded by car park, because in Indonesia right now car park is seen as a bad thing (which it's true because they don't employ anyone and wasting space that can be build as housing or mix use building) new development here now focus on increasing pedestrian area around train station and minimize the car park areas and replaced it with BRT or feeder bus. Hopefully new project at Malaysia will implement more pedestrian friendly design, because in honesty, it is wasted opportunity seeing really good MRT service but the majority of the area near the station wasted by car park.

Thanks for sharing Daviano. That is indeed a very interesting perspective in regards of car park vs housing. As a driver though, I keep wishing the MRT company would provide more car parks especially covered multistorey version as it can cater for more vehicles and better use of space.

@@WanderEats thanks also for the replied, probably because the pressure from many people here in Indonesia towards our government to provide more public transport and pedestrian only areas, not saying people hate car here, it just car for Indonesian is seen like tools or just for hobby, aka we don't really need it if we have other options or we just feel want to drive. That's probably why more Indonesian people hate large car park near railway station or bus terminal, although strangely, if the car park is placed underground away from train station/bus terminal but still near enough, we don't really mind because they are people that have to take car and the place above can be use as mix use building.

@daviano_R.T. yes each country and even society is different due to various circumstances. Cars are big here thanks to our own brands like Proton and Perodua.. lol

@@WanderEats yeah I know that, I mean Indonesian people car at the very least is Honda and Toyota considered as common car, obviously because we didn't have our own local brand, and we already used to Japanese Car brand since long time.
