What a polite Machinodramon, boosting his ally with a few attack fields, tank hits for the little buddy, and then team attack with it. A good first impression for sure.
Yes! I’m really excited to see more digimon content here! This is probably the most approachable digimon game! I can’t wait to see what digimon you’ll go for in this game!
Seeing this here is like bread, and butter coming together. I was hoping you would play this someday after talking about it in Digimon World. This game is so good, and it got me back into Digimon games after Digimon World on PS1 made me not want to play any games. Its so easy to play, has a lot of great Digimon, you can pick what they Shinka. They do not die, you can have 11 Digimon in your party if you have the memory, the story is good, and the music is top. It has easter eggs from the Animes, and other games. I hear a new story game is coming I hope that is true.
@@henriquegalindo9659 I heard that too on the Olympus XII Digimon if that is true would this be the first game to focus on them or have them play a big role?
@@animegamesmoviesandotherst3037 Yes, it would be the first one to focus on them as a group. We had a mobile game that had Jupitermon as the protagonist, but that's about it.
One of the best Digimon games out there! It's story, battle mechanics and evolution routes makes Pokemon games look so simple and small .. I just started Hacker Memory!
It's my favourite Digimon game. Great long story, simple but fun battle and growth system with none of that tamagochi stuff and it dying and bring reborn every half hour.
I'm pretty sure the reference about killing demons is from Dororo and Hyakkimaru: the father of the protagonist made a pact with 48 demons to give them pieces of his firstborn body in exchange for prosperity for his lands. The protagonist has to slay these demons to get his body parts back. It's a pretty good anime (both the original and the 2019 remake)

I played to about 50% of it, then had to do things IRL and didn't had time, its been so long, I can't decide to either start a new game or continue the last.
I feel like Dawn/Dusk, while not open world or anything, had a justification for why you couldn't do that- the primary mode of transportation was through some kind of teleportation device and the maps were absurd mazes that Jaiden of "Pokemon Fan Plays A Digimon Game and HATED It" noted it.
Yes! Been waiting for you to play this. Excited to see what megas you end up with by the end and hope you play hackers memory and survive after this too!
Been looking forward to this ever since you played Digimon World 1! I love this game, it's so bizzarre and weird but so good at the same time. Also you mention the Wizarmon story here, today I got a custom Digimon vpet shell I ordered and as a freebie they sent me a blind bag with tiny Digimon figures in it - and lo and behold, one of the ones I got is Wizarmon. Couldn't stop laughing. Also bonus Wizarmon trivia: he's originally from another Bandai virtual pet franchise called Magical Witches, kind of like Nanimon is from the Tamagotchi universe (since Digimon started as a virtual pet)
Not to defend Rie Kishibe, but being horny doesn't effect if you are a responsible guardian or not (unless it towards their legal child, but that's another issue). She's a shady CEO so she does have some skeletons, but her being horny isn't one of them. Glad to see Pikasprey has recovered from his Dusk lets play enough to play this. I pray he does the post-game story, since he'll recognize someone he wasn't expecting to see.
I put over 40 hours in the base game of this (I have it on steam just the obligatory "hey play this first if blind" , and still haven't finished, and haven't returned to it in over a year now. You're gonna make me wanna go back lol, good timing with this
I've been playing hackers memory recently and watching your old digimon dusk playthrough while playing, I'm extremely surprised and happy to see you playing this now!
Thanks for letting the voices talk and read the dialogue. I wished they did an english dub of this, but I know it’ll probably won’t be as good as the original. I especially love the voice acting they did for Nokia
I know I’m late to this (didn’t even realise you’d been playing this) but I love this game and can’t wait to watch you play it. I’ve always played hacker’s memory first, as it allows me to use exclusive digimon in the other file once it’s completed. But I tend to end up not completing either stories.

One thing I didn't like about this game was the conversations, like all the time. Too much talk. But I enjoyed the game still. I'm still sad that digimon stats are fixed and can't reach maximum, so it's different than other games.
Not sure how well this works on other systems, but I know about a possible exploit on the Switch, where if you don't completely close out the game and just put the system in sleep mode, any digimon in the digi-farm will continue to gain exp.
I’ve been waiting for this since your first digimon video. This is my favorite game in the series. By the way, my favorite digimon is wargeymon, what’s yours?
The original name of the attacks is Grey Sword and Garuru Cannon. This name change as well as many others is funny because in this game some digimon shout the name of their attack when they perform it, But the text of the game shows a different name than the one that is being said making it clear that they were changed. The same goes for the name of Digimon who were changed for some reason in the localization of the game.
Tbf hagurumon does eventually digivolve to platinumNumemon who gives an exp boost. Combine with the tactician usb and it becomes very easy to reach max level.
It's weird watching this game with increased fps. The vita version is about 30, so the speeds here are about double or triple. So naturally Digimon Story became Digimon World DS, plus story probably didn't sound as interesting as WORLD especially if your going to rely on people stumbling across it because why advertise stuff? So Dusk naturally followed that naming convention, and for whatever reason they randomly decided to I guess try to mislead peopel by also renaming Digimon Savers Another Mission... calling it Digimon WORLD data squad...
