- Tired of losing knives, I was thinking about making one that was part of my belt, so I made one of 420 stainless steel. This discreetly hides in the belt taking advantage of the shape of the buckle.

Самоделка в чём то и хорошая но как то не полностью удобная,ну ремень то остаётся отстёгнутым.

Это что, вот я спец. Полгода собираюсь болт из гайки сделать, даже купил бор машину,кучу боров насадок, разных даже по дереву. Но дальше включения бор машины и завороженного просмотра как вертится вал пока не дошло. Видать нужно еще насадок заказать.

I carried something like this all though the 70s and 80s. Was made by a company called Bowen and was surprisingly handy.

I think it's pretty nice as a defensive weapon, in case you got abducted by someone wanting to hurt you and you got for some reason locked up somewhere, it could be a way to defend and perhaps save yourself. I know it's a very specific set of events but I guess you'd never know what's coming up on you.

One fatal flaw is that the Buckle comes off with the knife so anytime you use it your pants will be falling down

I made one couple years ago, for the blade l used a piece of garden shears as it's excellent for blades, the buckle was piece of round 8mm stainless bar that l Tig welded onto the blade, and the piece of leather sheaf was stitched to the belt not glued.
