- Beautiful Italian Stiletto Switchblade Knife Restoration.
I found this knife at an antique store. I like Italian knives, so I decided to restore this knife. The stiletto was broken - the spring and button were broken. I restored everything and made a new handle from antlers. I hope you liked my restoration.

You are amazing. Truly beautiful to watch the full restoration process. I have an old broken switchblade I have kept for 40 years; you give me the incentive to try to restore it now. Thank you.
Awesome result and those knives are such classics too. It's great to see them brought back to life, but I suspect that they actually look much nicer now than they did when brand new!
My dad passed away was in the Korean War and I got what looks to be the same design as this knife in his toolbox but black handle and push button also doesn't work. This has inspired me to get it restored to working condition.
Beautiful restoration! I do wish the scales we’re a little thinner or tapered at the ends, but that’s a minor nitpick. I’d gladly take it! 😀
Amazing restoration….so therapeutic to watch
Thanks!
I could smell the video when you started sanding the antlers :D great video!
))) thanks)
hahahah, good point indeed, I was smelling stag too when polishing it
That's a great restoration but man that antler was.... it was a choice.
I think that is the cleanest knife I have seen you work on!!! But again you did a killer job on one of my favorite style of knives. You are very talented and resourceful!! Great job!!!
Thank you!
@@ReXtorerа у меня такой.

Knife be lookin' killer, @ReXtorer!
Absolutely beautiful!
Full Profi this Man, very good your Tools
One heck of a nice job. Better than new. Thanks for showing the right way to restore a switchblade. Looking forwards to your next video.
👍 great
Luar biasa. 👍
Looked better in wood but still super cool to see how the inside of a Stilleto switchblade works!
Made in Italy, resurrected in Minnesota - good show ole boy!
Merci!
*Simple tools do a good job of making the job easier* 👍👌👍👌
Very nice refurbishing project. Looks really nice. Most people using bone antler usually tapers it off towards the bolsters at both ends. It gives it a more smoother finish. Just an idea. Otherwise perfect...
I like switchblades also, I have 8, always carry one, they are legal in my State. 2 of them have a broken spring but nothing else wrong with them. Your video gave me a pretty good path to replacing those springs.
Thanks
I'm glad my video helped you)
It did. I'm sure you have a favorite, like me. I have one that I got when I was in Italy, beautiful wood, carried it every day for about 15 years and then one day I went to open it and snap went the spring. I sure hope I can fix it. @@ReXtorer

"Two big thumbs-up!". Siskell & Ebbert.
Amazing restoration
The deer antler looks cool but i thing black Albany would have been sweet.
You do amazing work
Great video. I have to stiletto that the safety hasn't worked since I bought it. After seeing this I think I can fix it. Thanks
Felicitaciones
22 hours is record time for this result. I would be prepared to trade 6 working days at least.
100% agree
Beautiful work! Would prefer a wooden handle myself but the result is just great!
Great work, as always!
Beautiful job mate I have a few stilettos..... Restoration first class job👍👍👍

Another great work dude 😮😮
Great work! i love a good mechanical knife restoration
Very impressive restoration. What a difference!👍
Thanks!
Wonderful!! Your work is always mind blowing! Unusual choice for the handle, but I like it.
Antler is used all the time
Excellent, such an artistic work...
Great work on a great knife!! Cheers!!😁🔧🛠️👍
I kinda don't like the new handle. Just being honest, but the overall blade looks AWESOME. You did a great job on it!
Super jest ten cały scyzoryk pozdrawiam twórcę 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Absolutely amazing! If I ever find one worth restoring I want to send it to you with the antler and some money. I just love what you did here!
Nicely done!
Lovely restoration, but I think the antler need to taper into the metal it looks overly chunky, but apart from that 👍
Great job, you should be proud !
I have my grandpas and have been hesitant to tear into it cuz of the riveting. The spring is good but the locking pin must've had a little sheared off a little bit cuz the blade won't stay locked. Can hear it click but if you relax your closing hand it clicks open again. I might try to restore it but will keep the scales as is
Looks amazing 😊😎👍
Beautiful
Nice con from Ireland 🇮🇪
Yes awesome man. Very well👏☺️
So good ii boss 👍👍😊😊
The scales needed to be streamline to the body, Otherwise, One helluva restoration my guy!
Beautiful I would chamfer the edges if it were me
Amazing bro 👏👍👍👍👍👍
Tolles Teil
Nice. What do you do with the items after you repair them?
Awesome
Excelente trabajo!! se ve genial 😎👍
I have the same knife, it was interesting to see how to restore it if it breaks.
What size pins do you use to fix the skins back together . I need to replace my skins after the button side broke
I think the previous owner modified the button to make it low profile. It should have still functioned before the spring broke. I don't see how else it could have gotten like that otherwise.

Is there any special glue to keep the swivel bolsters in place if they get loose??
Amazing work and a great 12 hours well spent 👍😎 it’s a great shame that they don’t make them anymore 😢
Yes they do what are you talking about?
Super Arbeit 🎉
I collect Italian switch blades, all different styles. Is there a trick to centering the blade?
“It’s perfect”
Whats eith the gloves?
Do you do commissions, because I think I ruined a blade on a stiletto and I'd like to see about replacing it with a better quality blade, one that can be used.
👏👏👏👏
Very nice job, was the knife a typical Italian knock off?
👍👍👍
Naked women
Thickness of stag didnt fit
My Dad had a knife just like this, but it wasn’t broken..he passed away years ago while using the knife - accidentally cut both of his wrists while taking a bath. mom hid the knife so we wouldn’t play with it anymore
16:48 whats the name of that thing he is hitting ???
A beautiful piece of art and a fatal weapon!
