Just got back from the tour. Not worth it this year at all. Much better when it is in Circus McGurkus. Chicken nuggets and fries being served was also a huge disappointment from years past.
@@supersanic1254 interesting points. I completely agree about Circus McGurkis. When I asked our guide about the change they said it was because of the walls still being up around there and they also preferred the condensed area for the meet and greets/cookies and treats times. I wasn’t a huge fan of the plain cookies that had been served in years past so I rather liked the change but I could see from a “holiday” stand point how that could distract from the vibe. Thanks for the insight, appreciate your take!
Absolutely got a new follower from this video. I was getting worried having not seen but one other video review about the tour and they just obliterated the food offerings but you all made it look so much better! We go next Tuesday for our first ever tour ever and first ever holiday trip!
@@peterdalessio4980 this is my question, too. Did you find out? Would you miss the tour by showing up at like 5:50? Touring Plans says the parade is 15 mins (that's assuming you see it at the beginning of the parade route).
@@kmsprincess when we went we werent able to watch the whole parade. We Did see it but theres like a grace period for you to go to the VIP tour you may have to double check cause this year might be different. But we basically ran to make it on time
It's neither, sorry! It's where you used to check in for the Blue Man Group outside of both parks. As you're walking across coming from Universal Studios to Hard Rock Cafe there's a small walkway to the right hand side that will lead a path past Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket coaster and that's the check in location.

Yes of course! They do a great job at taking pictures with both your phone or if you have a camera of your own
Does the macys parade not happen during the Holiday VIP tour ? I am going to universal on the 11th and looks like no one has seen the parade yet
The Vip tour check in is at 5:30 and unfortunately it’s the same time the parade happens so you don’t get to see it during the tour .
