  • Let's hang out for a little in the garage.
    The video was taken on February 18-19th, so very fresh.
    Barkbusters installation, Perunmoto rear luggage rack, DNA air filter, and some other fun stuff we can do on our motorcycles while spending such valuable time in our cave.
    My Ducati Desert X, getting heavier, so in the next part, we will try to make it lighter.

    Goodmorning, yesterday o recieved my desertx in the colour saturn grey. What a nice machine! Can you tell me what kind of helmet you prefer?

      Good morning, Vincent, congratulations on your new bike. If you want a quiet and really nice helmet I would definitely recommend Arai Tour X4. One thing that I missed in that helmet was integrated sunglasses. But if you don't mind about the loudness, then even the one I am using right now is not a bad helmet. Light has sunglasses inside, made from carbon fiber. The name of it is a little strange- Nexx X Ved2 vaal carbon. There are some non-carbon versions- they are heavier and now there is a pro version. That one is even lighter, but I think it does not have integrated sunglasses. otherways can't recommend too much, cause it's hard to recommend if I never tried them. Enjoy your ride!

    Is it just me? Or did the oil look very dark ?
    A shame with the position of the air filter, good looking bike👍🏻

      You are right, it did look very dark and I was very surprised about that. Not even 6K kilometers, even wonder how would it look after 15K, since that is Ducatis recommended oil change interval... And I know for sure that the oil was as recommended per Ducati- Shell Advance.

      Hi, Thanks! Yes it can, I have an original Ducati heated grips on mine and it works no problem with barkbusters.

    Good video! I have a Desert X too fittted with the Termignoni full system. I am trying to figure out some good soft luggage solution…which wont foul with the exhaust end can. Any suggestions? Have you done anything to manage the exhaust heat not burning those Mosko side luggage bags on yours?

      Hey, thanks!
      The original muffler doesn't get hot at all, so I did not have to worry about that issue last year, even though I've had the moskomoto heat shield installed (it's just a raised metal plate, which is mounted on your exhaust end canister and is included in a kit when you are buying reckless system but it works). Now, when CAT is off, I still think that it's gonna be enough protection. If you don't want to clamp anything to your Termingioni I found some rear racks that look good enough on the bike, but still, I think it makes the luggage set up too wide for my taste. Works with Moskomoto or Enduristan soft luggage systems. BTW they have a cool rear rack option, that would work even with the auxiliary tanks or OEM side hard luggage racks. There is a link if you wanna check that out-

    what is the part number for the bark buster kit you used?

    • @nemoltu
      @nemoltu  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, Gary, that's a BHG-100, with all the extras which have other part numbers. If you need any part numbers from what I have installed on mine- give me a shout. I've got it from there if it matters to you-
