@@sailingfishcake yes, that is also my concern. Not only to have time to explore there but also time to choose good weather windows for the crossings. I have once spent 5-6 days at the Faroes, work related, where I also had the opportunity to explore and it was amazing. Would love to sail there in my own boat one day!
@@MikeSantis very true. I was extremely lucky with the weather. I’ve spent 3 weeks from Norway to Faroe Islands and back. I’ve stayed waaaay too short to properly enjoy the places. Oh well, next time!
well done !!! a bit rolly but seems your were making good progress !!! looking forward to see you on the way to the Orkneys ... Fair winds , calm seas and Cheers from Muros !!!!
Great to see you had a good passage to the Faroes safely; enjoy the fermented lamb ! I’m aiming to head to the Norway on route to the Baltic next year.
@@sailingfishcake Anglesey. As I’m coming up from Wales I will probably head to Fort William and through the Caledonian Canal, around to Peterhead and then across the North sea from there. This is the route I came back from Norway a few years ago on my Beneteau 35S7
@@walther6799 used it all the way. If you balance the sails/boat, the tillerpilot uses much less power. But also I have very little consumption in general. Fridge with compressor, No freezer, all lamps are LED, iPad as chart plotter etc. Also lithium battery bank combined with solar panels helps a ton
Just found your channel. You are doing excellent now that your sea sickness has gone. Very solid boat. Thank you.
Thank you 🙏 it’s been a wild ride and I’m already itching for more!
Excellent video of a real accomplishment! Greetings from Anglesey, UK! I look forward to seeing the video of your voyage to the Orkney Islands too.
Thank you🙏 and hello UK from Norway! I’m editing it currently 😊
Thanks for taking me on the voyage with you. Most enjoyable.
Thanks for watching and commenting. More to come! 🙌
I guess you have been having the same dreams as me. Sailing to Shetlands and Faroes. Great job. Thanks for the video
It seems so! Always had it in my mind. I just wish I had more time to stay and explore there

Thanks for intresting video.
Can you please tell - what is your boat model and size?
