Being a newbie, not realizing gas gauges on boats, at least mine, are not accurate, I ran out of gas, in the main shipping channel in Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. Called a boat tow service. $700 to bring me gas!!!! I literally didn't pay that much for my used boat! Finally found a friend of a friend to come and tow me back in. Won't go out without tow insurance, ever!

I have the 525 full wake version and its great. That looks like an older moldel. Best of both worlds! I anchor at the sandbar, and while the wife and kids are playing and relaxing, I detach the seadoo and go out bootin' around. After a bit I go back and attach. Best way to enjoy the jetski life while sharing your experience with your family all without them hanging off the back of the jetski for 4 hours uncomfortably.
Its still very new here in Canada. People are always coming up to me or bringing their jetski's close to me while anchored and asking me about it. I get so much attention with it, now I know how a celeb feels like. 😄
That dude in the KW never opened his drain plug after the last trip. He literally sunk that boat on the trailer in his backyard when it rained. Lucky he didn't bust his tires or axle on the way to the ramp.
I recently bought a Seadoo boat that was parked with the plugs in. It was stored in the desert where it rarely rains and the usual weather is dry and hot. Despite that, the water level in the bilge almost reached the valve cover. Dude bought it brand new in 2007 and never used it, it just sat in the Arizona sun being cooked.

I have seen alot of jet skies and Wave runners save people that fall off their boats on another channel!
It humors me to watch people try to load their boats onto the trailer with 1200 pounds of people in the boat and wonder why it doesn't smoothly slide on.
i find some boat people as dumb as some of the crash videos i watch, nooooooooooooooo common sense what so ever, tooooooo much wobbly pop i guess while on the water.

3:00 Friend of mine's got one of those and honestly its a pretty friggin cool concept. We keep joking the plan is to take the kids out to one of the spoil islands here, detatch the front end and leave em there for a few hours.

I have well over 3,500 hours on the water just on skis alone. As a seasoned ski vet, you have to be Knowledgeable, courteous, respectful and know what’s up to ride with me. Without hesitation I will nicely scold the amateurs and credit card Captains out there. The locals hate and despise jet skis but they know if your with me you’re good to go. 🤙🇺🇸

These videos are super. In a perfect world, pontoon craft and jet skis really need their own launch area. It's tough enough to get a real boat in the water down these ramps. It surprises me that you don't get a 'shots fired' report. Fisticuffs must be common.

It's a Stand up ski... not a kneel down & goes in circles ski. I rode an '84 Kawwy 550 for 20 years. Warm it up sitting alongside dock... then hit the throttle & GO, in a standing position. Dry from the ankles up.. for hours.
I had two myself. 2500 for both and trailer. One was for parts. Lol

Back in the '80's/'90's, every ski was a standup & weighed 250+ lbs..The entire "Jet Ski/ Wet Bike" industry has morphed into where now they weigh over 1000lbs, REQUIRE trailers, have stereos & coolers & can be dangerously fast. Now any fat uncoordinated CLUELESS slob can ride a sit down wimp bike. You don't have to be in good physical shape. We used to keep 2 tall-boy Budweisers in the fire extinguisher hole & you'd toss your ski into the trunk of ur car or pickup.
I paid $2k for my '84 in '88 from my cousin who'd bought it new 4 years prior & barely rode it. He paid $2400 new. I thoroughly maintained it & It always ran great. Sold it in 2013 for $800 & it still ran perfect. I worked for a yacht broker in a marina rigging & commissioning new & used power & sail boats. I kept my ski on floating dock between two sailboats. And we'd have amateur races with floating bouys on the weekends.

I love your content and voice over - Trying to watch Boat Ramp YT is like scratching a chalk board now.... The only thing I wish I could get you to change is your mind on PWCs... As a part of the community, we are not all gnats/fleas just like not all boat owners aren't assholes... I see plenty of jerks on these ramps for sure... I am one of the good ones on the PWC - aware of my surroundings and wake zones.... but I was brought up learning and knowing the rules of the water... so many haven't it appears!
I don’t think they all are really. They just show up a lot and are like the sport bikes of water :) I ride sport bikes.

Before I realized my boat's gas gauge was inaccurate, I ran out of has. I called for a towboat to bring me some gas. They wanted $700! We were able to call someone with a boat and they came and towed us back to the dock. Won't leave home without insurance now.
Ive never owned a boat but i know its a helluva lot easier to get the dead weight off the boat b4 putting it on the trailer.

HB 703 passed in 2016. The new law states that you can’t be ticketed for it. Uscg may have something on their books
When coming into port, all hands should be aware of what's going on. Cell phones down. Man the fore and aft lines with fenders down. These people are sitting tight, holding a bottle of wine, texting and blubber boy is weighing down the prow. It's a crying' shame. 😮💨

I am 51. I was just able recently to afford to buy my own boat. A 22ft center console. I am not the best, learning. Go easier on people man.

WOW. I have 2020 Yammy FX SVHO Limited and I thought it was the operator, not the machine just like boats that don't respect No Wake Zones. I guess if you can't afford one, you hate it. I also have a 2601 Seaswirl Striper WA, I/O, HT. Best of both worlds. Guns don't kill people, people do.
A few weeks I saw a small sign adjacent to the sidewalk near a funeral home that read WAKE ZONE.

Also if he actually stood up on it he would understand it would be more stable instead he was hugging it like a 4 year old hugs an inflatable... for dear life.
Jet skis are awesome. We got one but I'm a rare breed. I follow slow no wake. I keep well clear of other boats. I don't split 2 boats parked fishing. I look at stationary boats as rocks... I don't want to hit rocks. If I absolutely have to split 2 boats I kill it to idle speeds and strike up convo as I'm slowly going by. Usually idiot ski boats force me to split fisherman boats but I give them courtesy . Those wake boats are a bane. I frequent a small lake and the worst are the wake boats with deep drafts and the wake wings. The poor old timers in the tiny tin boats 😔.
The problem with jet ski people is they have 0 respect for other people. But I can say that for ski boats too.
I've ran down 2 jet skis 2 separate times.
One for splitting 2 fishing boats. I was one of them. The guy in the other boat noticed I was hauling my anchor like a mad man and I took off. Ended up being a young girl. Thought she was older. I told her dad the rules and all the good stuff and he apologized. Went back to where I was fishing and the guy thanked me. He fished the front of the boat while his kids were swimming off the back.
The other one I caught using a slow no wake bouey as a toy. It was close to a small swim area where several very young children were swimming. Ran him to shore and told him to get off the lake. No PFD. If he lost it that ski could have went right into the swim area and hit one of the kids.
Bottom line.... it's not hard to give people distance there's plenty of water.

The jetski was splitting us we were both anchored.

The only reason I don't subscribe is your channel is your attitude towards jet ski's. I have both a boat and jet ski for over 20 years. I ride like I have brains and obey no wake signs, distance to other boats and such. You make it sound like all jet skiers are idiots. I love NSB , boats and jet ski's. Go easier on jet skiers riders, and PWC's. They are a shit load of fun.
