It's considered most authentic but it isn't .
There are 100 to 200's of ahadith one after another that are da'ef.
You should come up with hadith that the Shi'a themselves accept as a Sahih Hadees.
We've got da'ef Hadith in our books too so this isn't the way how you rebuttal someone .

The day Prophet Mohammed (s) was born was the day that bought joy and happiness to Muslimeen and Momineen. We celebrate that day as Greatest and Seal of Prophets of ALLAH (SWT) was born. However that day saddened and made satan, shemrani and nasibis gloomy and disheartened as their evil ways and evil religion was destroyed and annihilated forever. Now they despise and get angry at the day of Mawlid as it reminds them of greatest defeat.

About your question.. do you think Prophet Mohammed (s) and his Ahlulbayt (a.s) & Sahabas did not hold any significance to the day Prophet (s) was born?? If you do not find any recorded evidence of anyone celebrating on Mawlid.. it may also be due to lack of evidence or celebrating on Mawlid not been recorded. Rest I let ALLAH (SWT) to decide about our deeds.

The way of the Rawafid is very strange indeed,they says Abu Bakr,Umar ,Usman ,Muawiya committed atrocities on Ahlul Bait,yet the Rawafid took revenge of all this alleged atrocities on prophet Muhammad (S.A.W),if not then why would have they included other person's name beside prophet in Sahadah and Adhan,Why then they would have believed Imamat to be greater than Prophethood? why then they would have included another persons in the attributes which are specific to prophet only like "Masum","Divinely appointed "? why then they would have barked at his pure wives, only and no other women?Then why would have they considers the Quran to be corrupted? Then why would have they believed the importance of Prophet (S.A.W) being in that he was just someone's father-in-law and someone's grandfather and nothing more? Then why would have they believed that his mission was a failure! why would they have believed that the purpose of the prophethood is just to be harbinger of someone's Imamat and nothing more than that?
All this implies that the real target of Rawafid is prophet (S.A.W) and not the Sahaba.
