  • James O'Brien is moved to tears by grieving father John who urges people to remember bereaved families when casting their next vote.
Grieving father John lost his daughter Susan to Covid in March 2020 and told James: "One thing that came out of yesterday more than anything else was the absolute need for an inquiry now. Not in a year's time, now.
"One thing we all know in our hearts: that the lunatics are running the asylum at the moment."
James agreed, telling him that grieving families "are reduced to a vengeful, vendetta-driven, former senior adviser giving vitriolic testimony to a select committee to get answers to the most profound and the most powerful questions of your life.
"You're reduced to tuning into a pantomime like that rather than having a full and frank independent inquiry."
John told James he kept rewinding to listen to what Dominic Cummings said time and time again "because I wanted to be sure what he said, I wanted to understand what he said."
"Nine hours is nothing - I desperately needed the answers and for me, he gave me the answers yesterday," John said, "and the simple answer is by Johnson's actions, his refusal to accept the seriousness of the pandemic...and it's as simple as that.
"Using the word vaccination does not wipe away all those people that are dead, but that's what they're trying to do every time they open their mouth it's vaccination, vaccination, vaccination."
James, extremely moved by John's message, said, "I bet you were a brilliant dad."
"She was 56 years old, she was a bundle of fun. I called her Little Chief and she called me Big Chief," he said of his beloved daughter, "she was just the loveliest person in the world and she didn't deserve it.
"None of these people deserved it. At a time of crisis when we desperately needed a really serious politician in charge of Downing Street, we sadly finished up with a charlatan and a narcissist and a liar and that's why my daughter is dead.
"I feel for all of these families, every single family, my heart goes out to them and when I see it every day and people turn round and say it's only nine dead today. That's somebody's loved one - it's not only two, it's not only nine, it's not only one. It's somebody's loved one that's died.
"People are in pain and people should remember that the next time they go to put their cross in a box in a polling station because this man isn't fit to run the country, end of story."

Who in their right mind actually believes this or says we should "move on" because of our great vaccine rollout?
Lying, deceitful, arrogant politicians with just a single grain of morality or integrity.
If they had more then Johnson,Hancock, Jenrick, Williamson and perhaps Priti Patel would be removed from cabinet and de-selected as constituency MP's before the next election.
We desperately need a stronger, united opposition, scrutiny from media and for voters to not be so gullible.

I'm someone who strongly believes in the worth of a handshake. Have done my whole life. My father instilled in me it's an indicator to a person's character.
      I'm Australian.
When our medical experts told us to stop shaking it was incredibly difficult for me on a subconscious level.
      But I did it.
I followed the advice of people that know better than I. They're medical experts, I'm a tradie.
Honestly it's been difficult to rewire my brain, but it had to be done.
Yes I know it might sound ridiculous to a lot of people, I get that, but I didn't ask to have that belief instilled in me.
But life changes. Things move on.
In context, these are the small insignificant changes we all make for the benefit of society.
I lost my handshakes, but my country stayed alive, got numbers downs, opened up again quickly, and apart from a few hiccups life is back on track.
My heart goes out to you guys over there. Truly.

However, much of what Cummings was saying I had already heard from other sources, including from members of SAGE (including that Cummings wanted the 2nd lockdown earlier than Boris).
So, since there are independent corroborating witnesses and evidence, this lends more weight to what Cummings is saying.

What a lovely man. I really hope he does get peace in his head one day, even though his heart is broken.
Hit hard as I was a woman of 56 last March with complex health issues.

This gentleman just said what I've been saying for the past 1.5 years.
This was the time we needed a proper person in charge yet what ended up with was a total clown surrounded by sycophants'.

So moving and powerful. He’s absolutely right in everything he says about Johnson & Hancock and the deaths through Conservative policies before Covid. I cannot understand why people vote Tory.

And yet not a single comment on here from them, where is the courage of their conviction? Where is the sense of responsibility? of culpability? A limp left click and then leave... they find the path of least remorse. There is light at the end of this deep dark tunnel.. but it is not to be found in the thumbs down clicks on here.

@@hufclufc Might I suggest giving your barmy head a shake, looking in the mirror, taking a deep breath and exposing yourself to real life, meeting real people, maybe do some charity work, broadening your horizons and once in a while peering beyond the walls of your 5g bunker and unplugging from your important internet "research"

@@RichardBedfordmusic Thats a big problem of JOB types. Looking down on other people. As I live and work in the Philippines, I have broadened my horizons. Anyway, back to your little England JOBBY bubble. Its just stage managed propaganda to aid JOBS obsessive Johnson Derangement Syndrome. Sure, a guy's daughter, aged 56, died of covid. He's been on before, and was brought on at the end to ram home JOB's message that he had hammered for the last two hours. The guy John would have had a chat to one of the 'researchers' first and fed some lines no doubt. How is it Boris's fault anyway? Why not blame the scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, who let the virus escape in the first place. JOB never mentions that - doesn't fit his narrative or his neurotic hatred of Johnson et al. Anyway, I was more upset today at radio Newcastle BBC presenter Liz Shaw who died today aged 44 of blood clots after taking the vaccine. But again, JOB never mentioned that- doesn't fit his narrative. Or the thousands of families who literally dont have enough to eat in my local area due to 15 months of lockdown. Or 1001 other things that fill my barmy head rather than this Jeremy Kyle soap opera for the self important masses.

@@hufclufc I'd certainly be interested in what you do in the Philippines. Unsure why you find the young BBC news lass dying more sad, I guess it must be the familiarity, also unsure of the evidence of vaccine involvement. I think this "obsession" with Boris is based on the fact he is the PM, his information is often dangerous and misleading, sometimes plain lies. As PM he is accountable and the buck does stop with him so when something goes as terribly wrong as first covid response it is obvious he is the first person you look at. People were struggling to eat in the North East long before covid, strangely the contrived buffoon may be at the heart of that terrible statistic too.

Cummings testimony has opened my eyes to this governments shortcomings. I can't vote for this again but labour gives no alternative. Where do we put our trust now!
