I want to know how Dangle is going to deal with this video being put up
hahahah he kicked his wall in
He addresses it in his series preview vid
steve said his boss wanted him to write something regarding this event, can anyone link to it?
it was one the last day of work for a sportsnet employee and he/she always hated the mapleleafs so they decided to upload this game...
I don't like lucic. But when he was at Boston he was a very underrated player
100%, honestly the most ideal hockey player when he was scoring 30 goals and 60 points.
Until 2014, when he just started spearing Emelin in the balls and telling people that he was gonna kill them in the handshake line. Before that he was pretty good.
Yeah, he's a POS and no, I wouldn't say it to his face.
;)
I think you may need to look up the meaning of underrated!
How so? My best friend was a boston fan and he never shut up a about lucic
Doesn't matter how many times I watch this. It puts a smile on my face EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Yeah not me or anyone else from Toronto
@@nickjurkovic310 😭
@@nickjurkovic310 yep
not for me but the oh oh oh oh oh song gives me goosebumps. best goal song ever!
Have you ever heard the "Brass Bonanza" ?
HAHAHAHAHA SPORTNET IS SAVAGE
leafsnet
How??
Best video on TH-cam and I don't even like Boston. The Leafs fan salt in this comment section is gold.
imagine enjoying a video this much
^^^ salty Leafs fan
Dustin Nelson no
As a Leafs fan it is kinda funny to see the reactions of others to this again, still hurts tho
I dont even care anymore our team's fanbase is a salty mess
Who else is here after Toronto choking a 3-1 series lead
And choking once again lol
@@89StarKiller 😂
I came for the comments. This is gonna be goooooood.
Came for the comments? Shouldn't you guys be getting ready for your playoff run?
Edit : Oh this is embarrassing, I forgot you guys didn't get in. What a shame.
canadianpoker83 that was just dumb😂

10:23 "They collapse back so well" :l
*Triggered*

OVI-Wan Kenobi Let's spell "salt" together...... T-A-V-A-R-E-S 🤗
@@ThePonziGamer YES!
Wow. This Leafs team was nowhere as good as Boston.
GhettoTownPhatBoy 8th seed against 1st. Leafs took them to game 7 which was surprising.
zzzzImTired Actually they were the 4th and 5th seed. But still, yeah.
Shoulda won
zzzzImTired bruh
Yeah in hindsight, it’s absolutely insane this series even went to seven games.
45:12 "SCORE! BRAD MARCHAND!" that was Bergeron smh 🤦♂️
Jonttu 😂😂😂
@onebadghoulrhinomite2008well thats a pretty historic call to get wrong...
it's been almost ten years and you gotta start to wonder if this is maybe the most iconic NHL playoff game of all time. Gotta be top 5 at the very least.
It is up there. That 1993-1994 game 7 of Devils and Rangers was amazing as well.
I can't believe they uploaded this. Not complaining though
I watch this every time it pops into my feed. 😂
The sound of the garden after the tying goal gives me chills every single time. 🖤💛
5 years since I last watched this game & I remembered every single goal on that third period perfectly. You have no idea how long I’ve waited for a chance at redemption. Cannot wait for this series.
Still feel this way?
@@olbenny4027 if only he had known what was to come
@@hapi7726 2024... maybe this year is his year...
3 series later
I’ve come to like this pain
It's like a car accident, you don't want to watch but you can't look away
The only time I ever teared up watching hockey. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. I'll never forget this game for the rest of my life.
As somebody who has grown up following the Leafs & was initially pretty gutted after this Game 7, I can actually say for sure now, this is one of the greatest Game 7s in Stanley Cup playoff history. Mainly because, regardless of which side you were on, or even if you were simply a 'neutral' fan who had interest, anyone who saw this game still remembers it to this day. 🙂
delete.
WorkTheSpace The only good thing about this video is that I get to see the CBC feed and not the NBC feed or NESN feed of this Game.
WorkTheSpace I reported this video so fking rude!
obsolete
Why? This was an awesome comeback.

I could watch this all day

Even though I like Canucks.i just hate leaves

VinzyHighlights thank you captain obvious
better fix that
Yes im a leaf fan but i didnt disliked it because i know its bad but its in the past
Good observation....
they just had to rub salt in the wound!
I will never get tired of watching this
Damn watching this almost a decade after it happened you can really see how much hockey has changed. It’s was so much slower compared to now which just caused such a huge change in game play
Why does Sportsnet want to hurt the Leafs Fans so much. Steve Dangle was it you who uploaded this to the Sportsnet TH-cam Channel
Jesus! Toronto, I’m sorry. I’m just so sorry.
why are the maple leafs blue? because they have been choking for 50 years
Funny and original
10/10 troll job
We literally fund this company and what do we get in return?
- Paul Romanuk instead of the beloved Joe Bowen
- Constant reminders of game 7, one of the worst moments in Maple Leafs history
- Paul Romanuk instead of the beloved Joe Bowen
- Nick Kypreos on why we should've drafted Hanifin
- Paul Romanuk instead of the beloved Joe Bowen
TheHockeyGhost And worst of all, Jim Hughson
TheHockeyGhost keep crying ugly boy whats it been 80 years and no cup? GAHAHHA
I thought I was the only one that complained about Paul Romanuk
+superstaralen 50*
Funny seeing Leaf fans complain about TSN/SN when they literally only ever talk about you guys and not the rest of Canada
One of my favorite Leafs moments. Top 10, for sure.
I don’t remember watching the game but I remember going out to my dad who was doing yardwork 3 times
4-1 Toronto
4-4 Tie
And the final goal
We now know how many leafs fans watch hockey highlights.
- Leafs fan
as a bruins fan i literally got shivers watching this and my heart was beating out of my chest. great game
No thanks
Crazy how a lot of the Bruins core is the same
yeah, bergeron, marchand, chara, krejci and rask
Best thing to ever happen in hockey!!!!
Caleb Louden I think your team winning the cup is better but this is still dam awesome
it is now 2021 and the Leafs annual playoff choke job is complete. Nice to know things are getting back to normal.
This game made me cry 😭😢
Yeah. It reminds me of when Sam Malone said his now infamous "I'm sorry, we're closed" line in the Cheers finale.
Always felt bad for Reimer in this game but this is still one of the greatest playoff moments ever.
At first I thought there was a problem with the video then I realized the sound I heard was just Toronto choking : /
Piece of art
Awesome
Looks like leafsnet has been hacked.
More like the Russians hacked the Leafs.
This was such an amazing game. Most iconic playoff game in the past 10 years easily
Damn sportsnet savage for doing this
MAN I HATE SPORTSNET
When the score was 4-1 Toronto, I told my GF that the Bruins would get 2 late goals to tie and win it in OT.
I’m not even a leafs fan and this hurts me
2024 anyone?
Dont u love how reiimer and samsonovs post ot goal sprawl is identical 😂
Of course 😂
I am laughting that this video was just posted like it's nothing XD
Thanks
Sportsnet, today i am proud of you my son. You did good.
2013... how did that Stanley Cup final go again? Wasn't there a similar collapse in game 6 by a certain team? I can't remember the details because they never talk about it.
Alienated TV at least they can make the final
lol they made it to the finals. Leafs haven't won a playoff series since 2004
lmao savage sportsnet
Watching this makes me happy as a Habs Fan
PooseUnpoose At least the Leafs have a bright future. Unlike the Habs who will be trash for many years to come.
mkwrockers0099 The leafs future has been “bright” ever since 1967.
Enjoy your spring golf 🏌️
Well it actually is bright now with Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Reilly, and Anderson. All future stars.
10-0...that is all
Wow Jagr is everywhere
Why do I do things like this to myself and watch
Won't ever forget this game. One of those, you know.
I can actually watch the highlights of this game now and not necessarily be afraid anymore. I can't do that though for 2018 & '19. Probably because the epic nature of this game, the Bruins gutsy never-say-die comeback and the Leafs' utter meltdown in the 3rd. Crazy.
Reminds me of Sam Malone saying his infamous "I'm sorry, we're closed!" line on the Cheers finale.
45:10 one of my favorite calls ever, I can't help but notice Hughson said "Brad Marchand" instead of Bergeron and in another video about this comeback by SportsNet, they edited that out.
Good pickup! In the commotion I never noticed!
They collapsed again, what a horrible franchise.
Most expensive franchise in the league and 13 Stanley cups. You sure about that?
Thank you sportsnet for making Dangle write about this and making him watch it
I listened to this game whilst at work and to this day I've never seen the highlights of this game. That's changing today. It's time to put this epic bed shitting to, well, bed.
Hell yeah from a Wings fan.
game breaks my heart everytime....
I remember this. U had a lot of tears. Reminds me of Sound of Silence or the Cheers theme playing after the line "I'm sorry, we're closed!" was said.
Same it’s gives me ptsd
What's more embarrassing from this game was that a legit cup contender in Boston needed 7 games +OT to defeat a team that had Tyler Bozak as its #1 centre + a glorified backup in Reimer. I really don't see the reason why this was uploaded, it was 5 years ago and only like 4 players from that Leafs team remain..
Anyone who watched the bruins offense collapse over the last month of the season, never thought they were cup contenders. Ironically, the same thing happened in 2024... including dropping from first to 4th on the last day of the season with a loss to lame duck ottawa
You say agonizing, I say pure comedic gold.
Think about it this way: If we win this series we probably attempt to go all in with a core of Kessel, Lupul, and Phaneuf and make a stupid trade to help us make the playoffs the following year just to come up short. If we win this series do we still have Matthews, Nylander and Marner? This collapse was a blessing in disguise. Also look how badly the bruins outplayed us in this game and series. They had us hemmed in our zone for the majority of all 7 games and we were just very opportunistic. Current leafs who hem other teams in their own zone > this team
NBA Hive in a roundabout way it was a blessing in disguise when you put it like that
Well if u won tjis game woukd a tually have won a playoff series in 15 years. Still havent. Stil cant beat boston when it matters
@@scottaznavourian5791 three years later .. you're still not wrong, but would you kindly please go fck yourself somewhere else?
Problem is you still don't win even with this team ahahhhaa
Aged super well
New favorite video on TH-cam :)
And non-Leafs fans wanna complain that Sportsnet is Leafsnet.
Jeff T they never posted vancouvers game 7 loss against the bruins, Or any other teams devastating loss. Leafsnet is real asf
-ItsKesler17 - You just proved my point. They uploaded the most embarrassing game in Leafs history. If they really loved the Leafs, they wouldn't need to remind everyone.
count how many videos are about the leafs, or how often the leafs are brought up by analysts in non-related videos compared to other teams. Calling it "leafsnet" is definitely a bit of a stretch, but there is no doubt they cover the leafs much more then any other NHL team
Ahhh the wonderful memories.
Leafs blew it in 10 minutes, Boston blew it in 17 seconds
Leafs can't win a playoff series
Bruins make it to final two years in a row
@@olbenny4027Now we can both be together in having lost embarrassingly to Florida.
All I remember is Jim Hughston calling Bergeron, Marchand.
Sportsnet would upload this 2 days before a renewed series in what is suppose to be Toronto's revenge......
And that kids, is why I drink.
Why? Just why?
Lol sportsnet, what a joke why even put the collapse on here ? For what reason, leads are totally different team are you trying to play some sort of headgames
As a NY Mets fan I would put this with Game 6 of 86 World Series
It has similarities...
Beautiful defense by Jake gardiner on that ot winner. Just trade him for a bag of pucks, it defends better than him.
45:20 "All by myself, don't wanna be...all by myself"
still get shivers....
cant stop watching this vid this is amazing, and im not even a bruins fan
What if Matt Frattin scored on that breakaway?
What if Randy Carlyle didn’t bench Leo Komarov for the last 17 minutes?
Carlyle was highly responsible for this collapse. A timeout should have been called after the 3rd Boston goal. In addition he left a tired line on for too long near the end of the third period. Also Phaneuf was absolutely putrid the entire series. The only bright spot was James Reimer. The total opposite of Phaneuf. But bottom line the team was just not good enough. If that had been an 82 game season they would have missed the playoffs altogether. Ferguson, Burke, and Nonis were ALL terrible GMs and they set the team back incredibly with their boneheaded moves.
if it happens again this year
....and the year after that
Scott Aznavourian oh god lol
Scott Aznavourian little did you know
@@akted9076 i did. I posted it after lol
It did.
As a Leafs fan I can confidently say that the Bruins blowing 3 straight games to Florida is still nowhere near to how bad of a play this was... the literal source of every Leafs fans PTSD...
45:19 hello darkness my old friend
best moment in hockey history
Man just watching REAMER laying down in the crease. And the team skates away from him, he's just shocked. Cool to see his boys got his back.. Leafs are cursed
Leafs curse alive and well 2018!
AND HERE WE GO AGAIN!
Craziest part is that the Bruins did it without a single powerplay. There could have easily been 3 tripping calls and 2 too many men calls. Bruins just embarrassed the leafs.
OMG I JUST REALIZED GARIDNER LITERALLY GAVE THE PUCK TO BERGERON THE LAST GOAL
now this is entertainment right here
same thing will happen this year.
Was hoping for a different End .Thought it was a bad dream
Was feeling bored and I needed my Bruin/hockey fix, since we have to stay in because of Covid 19.... GOT MY HEART PUMPING ...love it..
Crazy how much Gardiner's skating has improved
Leafs fans: “okay we can forget all about 2013. It’s a whole new era now!” (Video uploaded) “NOOOOOOOO!!!”
Love when they show Maple Leaf square.
The Leafs have made snatching defeat from the jaws of victory an art form
5 years, I thought of nothing but the Leafs game 7 collapse, but I never got these guys. I never let them in.
