Fabulous reserve...Kafunta and Island were great..the views infront of camp always entertaining.Island was excellent including an encounter with wild dog while walking. ...that was in 2015...hope to return to Luangwa...and remoter camps and walking..for a 4th time. Great encounters and memories of Luangwa safaris.Its been pleasing to see wild dog return to Luangwa..twice encountered while walking...(.Island and near Nsolo)...Night drives and sundowners are great...never forget the call of a Scops owl!!
Hi there, the camps serve different purposes, Kafunta is the main base and closer to the airport and the central game viewing area, their other camps are more remote and aimed at walking or at least large chunks of walking and a more wilderness experience.
