I'm so glad I've found you . At one point in my life , I'm 80 now I thought classical music was lost . Then one or 2 composers emerged I could listen to , around 2010 . And now you , lovely. I've got all your music to discover. My father , born 1893 , used to play to me as a child. He played very well. And I tried very hard to play but gave up eventually.
I Love Classical music too. This beautiful music reminds me of so many good and bad memories when i was young, now i am 62. Time passed so quickly... God Bless you well ♥️✝️♥️
@@faith5401 It's amazing how evocative music is , how it can take one back so many years . One of the modern composers I like is Ludovico Einaudi . I used to play his music a lot . ( a cd ) Then there was Joshua Bell, think that's right . Luke has recorded a piece by Einaudi . God bless you too dear Faith , yours Kay
Your description made me laugh. I do indeed like candles and books quite a lot and I like them all the more when enjoyed with your music. As a fellow antiquary who has been born in the wrong time period, I quite appreciate your utilizing compositional talent as you do, good sir. I am glad to have found so many people who, as well, enjoy candles and books here.
...when I must write, rememberances in whisps of pale images, THIS is music I hear! Shouting, "COME BACK!!", deaths grip has lost its charm and new life can rise from the cool chill on an ash filled mantle...hidden one, interior hope, with trembling heart begins, again ...🎼🎶🎵🎵🎵🎙 Incredible passion! Grazie!!!!!!!!
A great playlist of soothing, calming music, even though some sound very sad. However, they are sparkling with hope and streaks of light, making us a little happier and more academic, creative, and human in this terrible world of raging wars, natural disasters, and noise. Your music helps me overcome them. Keep up your great work and continue to give us hope, Mr. Faulkner!
Ahh, as it happens, I do like candles and books. Guess this one's for me :) I'm currently about eight minutes in, and I can assure you that this is a masterpiece; the background complements your compositions really well. I hope there will be more playlists coming out in not too long!
« Aussitôt dit, aussitôt fait!😏😉 » C’est la meilleure playlist au moooooonnde !!! 😍😍😍 et tu as mis Midnight Waltz ! 🥹💛✨ Merciiii Luke 🙏🏼🥰😘 Oh et j’adore la version piano+violon de la valse bohémienne, elle est incroyable, sublimée par ce duo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Your style of decor is somewhat from the Baroque era, mixed with Victorian. Personally, I like it. My entire home is Victorian / Baroque / "Steampunk." All three are linked together, one following the other. Your music, to me, is Baroque. But, Baroque isn't "dark," except for a very short span in time it became dark just before the era collapsed as a result of brazen, socially open, promiscuous, sexual affairs and sexually promiscuous artwork. They went beyond socially acceptable norms and reached a tolerance limit, then suffered a nasty social backlash, unfortunately. It was a gorgeous era. Your music fits with that era nicely.
You are amazing! Your works are very beautiful. 🌹🌷 Thank you for making them available. It would be nice to have links for the purchase of individual tracks.
thats actually a good description! it has been mostly applied to fashion, imagine a combination of Harry Potter with the Addams family and 90s "preppy" fashion.
Luke, this is a great ideea with playlist where we can find your wonderful compositions from your channel. Till now I have shared your playlist from HALIDONMUSIC. Of course I would like to have more playlists like this one.
😂 I love this. Dark Academia is an ambiance people try to create through sound, but it creates a visual illusion in one’s mind as well, thus candles and books… Dear Luke is not the only one who feels as though they might have been born in the wrong century. Luckily his music helps us all to time travel a bit and recapture the essence of another era. ❤️🔥
Indeed. Though one need not fear harder times. Heroes are rarely born in the palaces of kings. Abundant times of excess create weaker, softer, indulgent creatures. Times of hardship allow for heroes and strength to be born, allow for growth. For there can be no growth without opposition. No diamond without heat and pressure…

Good to read !
I'm in a bit of haze today! Sorry! Beautiful string accompaniment! Valse Bohemienne feels like being in Vienna!
I found that one absolutely astonishing. Have you ever been to Vienna?

I'd love to hear playlists of your music, but also pieces by other musicians and composers that you like, or that inspire you.
Sure, your music 🎶 made me happy and bring peace. Great Lune Falkner

Qué bella, sublime, relajante y cautivadora es esta serie de piezas de Faulkner. Es un pianista espléndido...!!!
Yes I love the long form content!! :)
It's very University of Edinburgh "vibes" :)
Funny you should mention that! I studied there after Oxford.
The wanderer❤
❤
😳❤️❤️
Salud, Mr. Faulkner, do you teach?
The picture looks all about 300 years ago , like Brahms , Mozart , Beethoven .
Candles and books...hmm
😂 I love this.

@@SaHra29 Very true! But those times back then were a lot harder than now, even though a bit more romantic and slower, and somewhat more pure!
