That depends. A lot of people who are ill in can't afford to pay for amenities such as internet or housing. The real shame is how privileged the rest of us are and we still don't find time to appreciate these beautiful pieces.

I read several books at once. Currently reading about 5 daily. Try to read a ch or so in each per day. I don't always, and sometimes I will read a little in one book over a year (so, considering that it's more like 7-8 books). I love philosophy/metaphysics, psychology, natural healing, historical fiction, and fantasy (LOTR).
Writing... not reading, at the moment. But was beginning a book last night... "People of the Pines: the Warriors and the Legacy of Oka". Blessed be to you, Dead Thomas. :)
Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake does it for me every time. Such a masterpiece. Bravo!!!

Around 30yrs ago I would clean a very prestigious elderly lady's home. She was quiet, kind and modest. She wrote books on Mozart and would kindly play for me on her grand piano whilst cleaning, afterwards we would drink Earl Grey tea from her bone china cups. Her house used to be a ballet school with original park flooring everywhere and her long open lounge looked over an enchanted garden through large glass windows. My parents were factory workers so I didn't grow up with classical music but his lady introduced me to it and have loved and listened to it ever since. Her name was Catherine Thomson, to whom I will always be grateful. Much of this music here takes me straight back, thank you.

POV: When you fell down the rusty stairs, instead of dying, everything became dark, you walked stretching out your hands "I´m blind, I´m blind" you thought walking, stumbling, reaching out to something you couldn´t see; the air smelled different, and suddenly a presence, a hint of grass, dust and flowers from her dress. She touched your hand, while the darkness gave in to a dim noon light. You were not blind, nor dead, you weren´t sleeping neither were you in that old church anymore. A castle rose afar, and before you those eyes, that nose, her hair flowing, announcing a storm; she is real, she is here, the woman from another time you had been dreaming of, welcoming you at the place you now call home.

Medieval not for sure. The Piano was invented around the 1700AD. Even if you stretch the medieval period thats a few hundred years later.

The first masterpiece stirred so many emotions in my heart...I just woke up and clicked on this and the tunes fell out. ...and I felt suddenly I am in the most beautiful place in the world.
