The fact that you did this by yourself and it looks so good its inspiring me to do mine by myself too. 😍🥰 It looks sooooo pretty I had to give the video a thumbs up.
Still wfh since covid. Literally THIS is all i do wit my hair so I can exercise and carry on my routines w/o fussing with my hair so much. A couple of inches of hair and -60lbs imma show up at the office a new woman :) 💪🏾
Simply beautiful!! 2 strand twists were my fave. I use to do mine the exact way. Due to hair thinning, I cut my hair low a long time ago. This hairstyle has always been my hair goal and my natural hair inspiration. I am growing out my hair now after many years. Thanks so much for showcasing your gorgeous twists.
Had to come back and add another comment: Braiding those roots have made my twist last longer and look neater without having to refresh/redo the twist. I'm going into my second week.
I haven't had any hair damage from twisting or braiding or combo braiding/twisting like in this video. I am aware that some people keep their twists in too long and the hair can start knotting near the base (thinking it's trying to be dreadlocks) and/or they're not taking care of their hair with oils, etc. It's a care-free style, but we still must take care of it.❤
You are a LIFESAVER!!!! I never would have thought or known to do this and you and your hair--gorgeous!!!!! I still need practice parting with a comb but I am DEF doing mine this way from now on!!! God bless!!
Currently a few months into the process of growing out my hair (about 6 in.) and trying to learn to properly do my own hair. Seeing results like these is definitely inspiring me to keep trying.
This was done so well thought out! Thank you so much for this detailed sectioned video. Your hair is so beautiful. Great tip with the edge control on the roots ❤😇.
This is how I always do my twists. Not because of puffy roots though. I do it because my hair would loose out not long after I twist it. My texture is thin and soft, so to keep it longer, I have to braid the roots first.
I just did a big chop in november 2021 and my hair has grown pretty fast to shoulder and jaw length since then. It wasn't always that long though and I didn't know about any cute hairstyles for short 4c hair at the time so I'd wear box braids(before knotless was popular) to school all the time. The hairdresser would blowdry and comb my hair so painfully and roughly literally ripping it out so I was fed up of getting braids. So yeah twists are my favourite style now and they look so nice
Aw so sorry that happened to you😞 that's why I do my own hair. I'm very gentle and know what my hair can handle. Twists are my favorite style, they're easy to do and growing my hair.
That looks so amazing, your hair is so thick and healthy!! Please pray for mines, I had 4C and now it has gotten really fine since I got a professional semi permanent rinse. . I’m still going to try this, but I pray for my 4C hair to come back in Jesus Name! God Bless you on your hair journey! Although it looks like you’ve reached a wonderful destination!
My hair looks thick bc it’s coarse, but it’s def not once i twist it or flat iron it. If my hair looked like THIS, I would wear these all the time 😍 you did a great job
I tried this once, but didn't like that taking out took longer. I think I'll try it again with the edge hold; so my twist can look just as fresh the second week, before my wash. Then it will be worth the extra time. I wonder if I would get the no puff using the edge hold, but not braiding first, because like I said taking out is longer. I might try that first.
This is how I do my hair with just a little edge control on the roots. I part out my braids in two quarters on the side and put them together after I braid them to make my twisted pieces the same sizes. My hair is done in individuals in the back and flat twists on the sides and crown. I’m planning to wear my hair like this for one week, in a twist out for a couple of days. Then, in a picked out afro for a couple of days. I keep adding water, oil, grease and sprays to my hair every couple of days. Picking it out de sheds and detangles it prior to wash day. The next style is going to be the human hair knotless goddess braids by my 10th grade braider. She uses a new natural gel that keeps my hair moisturized. I’m glad to be able to figure out a protective style rotation routine for my hair.
Thank you💖💖 at night I just wear a satin bonnet. Also I did a video showing how I maintain it after one week. Here's the video th-cam.com/video/G5lI2Jsykr0/w-d-xo.html
Your hair is beautiful. I didn’t see that you needed to detangle at all. Two hours?😩 My struggle is so painful. Thanks for the video. Love the results.
Your twists look beautiful! I am going to twist my daughter hair for the first day if school. Am so glad she enjoys her natural hair. What products do you use? Hair looks so musturized.
Wish my two stand twists looked like this i have to do three strands. Im going to try this today with my three strand twist it should be easy since I'll just have to switch pattern but I want my twist to last longer
Man, I tried mini twists last night, spent hours only to come out with PUFF DADDY roots..lol. I did my twists on blown out hair because I wanted the length and a rope look. And my roots are African Bambata 4C kinky roots..Lol! 😂 I also pressed my hair just a little bit to try to avoid the puffyness. I used Shine n Jam on my roots but I'm thinking I need to use an actual edge control. I have 24hr Edge Tamer so probably should have used that. Maybe I should moisturize each entire hair section. Because I just went went twist by twist parted section to apply my butter cream and oil. Oh man...the trial and error is REAL!! 😭😭
The fact that you did this by yourself and it looks so good its inspiring me to do mine by myself too. 😍🥰 It looks sooooo pretty I had to give the video a thumbs up.
Awww thank you so much 🥰💖💖
Beautiful! How do you keep them from shrinking and how do you tie down at night?😊
Most of the time I put my hair in a ponytail with my banana clip and it helps to stretch my twists. At night I simply sleep with my bonnet.
How many twist do you have
I honestly do not remember since the video is so old.
Literally thought these were like passion twist extensions . The density consistency in your hair is crazy , full from root to tip 😍🔥🙌🏾
Lol thank you😊💖💖
Me too. I thought they were spring twist extentions!
Same here. I was looking for the type of hair extensions she used...🔥🔥🔥
For real. Love it. Great job, sis! Respect from the UK 👌🏾
I won't lie this is the most beautiful and healthy hair I have seen literally gave me goosebumbs. If only mine could get atleast half close to this
Awww thank you so much 💖💖

You are very welcome 💖😊

Had to come back and add another comment: Braiding those roots have made my twist last longer and look neater without having to refresh/redo the twist. I'm going into my second week.
Yes it really does last longer this way.
Is it true it could damage someone's hair? I've been told it could and that I should stop but nobody says it damages their hair on TH-cam ...
@@IamvdxIt hasn't damaged my hair pr people I know and I have done it for long. I think it depends with how you do it and your hair type
@rehemawambua7705 yes this is so true. I haven’t experienced any damage as well.

I sometimes do this technique on my youngest daughter's hair. Her hair is that soft texture too.
