    Dude, what is your opinion on mid-ride leg straps?
    I've been considering running one since a regular hip draw makes my holster flop and reholstering a little difficult.

      Thank you for dropping by! Unfortunately, I haven't tried those as of yet. But judging by the looks of it, I think they could really solve your problem.... The only trade-off I see is they could hurt your crotch?? Which I am not willing to risk.
      I have also tried a drop-leg holster before..
      Pros:
      1. Low carry.. will not impede your waist if you're bending to the side to peek around a corner.
      2. Low cost.. could get one for 350pesos minimum??
      3. Has extra mag pouch
      4. Doesn't choke the crotch area
      5. Widely adjustable to any size pistol
      Cons:
      1. Could swing around if your pistol is of heavier build
      2. The leg straps tend to be too long so you might have to mod it a bit
      3. Some versions have a velcro strap, some buckles, some have those clip-on button thingy as retention..
      4. Could go against a knee pad
      However, if you like hip draw but worry about the flopping, I suggest trying a paddle type holster. It is a better attachment than a molle or belt platform imho that is if you are not using an external belt like this video.
      As for the holster i am currently using, I have no problem whatsoever. Serves me well. Refer to my G34 unboxing video.

      i recommend getting a thigh strap. Especially the one that T-rex arms sell because it retains the holster and belt nicely, also it can swivel so it doesn't really impede your movement.

    Ah so the same as a Safelife belt. The Velcro belt or the molle belt do not seem as stiff as they should be to support your rig. Notice any kind of sag? I don’t think I’d wear this for a shift at work as security. Just me tho.

    • @l.billard218
      @l.billard218 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This belt does not look stiff at all. I wouldn’t not use this for a real firearm. Safelife defense would be better

    What is that mount for pistol holster? Looking for something like that. I guess my legs are weird, because Safariland tends to scratch my leg pretty good. Tek Lok is kind of high.

    Hey Nave! Thank's for the video,
    Question:
    What size of waist are you ? Im 34 " , I saw the Med. size it's for 34" to 38" and the small it's 30" to 34" . So my question is , does the Velcro in the outer belt will be shorter of the inner belt will be shorter? I mean that if the outer lock belt will be excactly 34" extended and the inner Velcro belt will be about excactly 34.?
    Im asking you this, because I don't want that extra layer of inner belt around the waist, did you tried the small size? any feedback will be appreciated.
    thnks !

    • @Matezz
      @Matezz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I have M size. When inner belt is set for 34" and outer belt wrapped around it, outer belt is quite close to its minimum size. Some 1" of nylon strap is remaining. So you would have MOLLE basically all around your waist from buckle to buckle. Which is probably better then S size extended to its maximum, having MOLLE too far from buckles.
