You ironman End-Gamers are INSANE, dude!! You folks really do farm ultra low-chance things for WEEKS, I don't think I'd ever have the patience! I made an Ironman character I think in August 2022, played non-stop for 3 months, and then got back in around March 2023. For whatever reason, I'm totally hooked this time. Like you (I imagine) I've played the game on and off since 2006. Every year or two, I'd check the game out for a few months, and fall back out again. I played RS3 for a good 3 months before I got tired of the "evolution of combat" and the fact that I was making Experience Urns for EVERY SINGLE SKILL I could, which cut grinding in half, lol. August '22, at 30 years old, I asked the question "Hey whats this 'ironman' all about, that's one thing I've never done..." and it is now the quintessential way to play the freaking game. Everything is completely different. Just got lvl 40 attack and want a rune scimmy? You're gonna have to Range 'Fire Warriors' for a good 6 hours for the drop (1/112). Jewelry and Jewelry teleports? Better have some crafting, magic, runes, gold, and gems! Oh you want a Dragon Axe? Better get your combat up and farm Dagannoth for hours and hours. But the REWARDING FEELING! It's now 1 year later and I have so many PAIN IN THE ASS skills over 70, and my ironman has surpassed the total level of all the accounts I made/played as a kid (1450, it's not much but its honest work) .... So why don't I care at all about Contruction... (only 33 lmao, with HUNDREDS of each plank in my bank and thousands of nails...)
love this!! and yes, I enjoy ironman soo much, it basically makes you play the game "yourself" by fetching everything on your own making it soooo much more rewarding :D!
@@coryp6868 Hey man, when I was 13, I had friends that ran Barrows and had Ancient magics and shit. I honestly never cared at that age to grind thousands of hours to catch up to them, while also having no concept of thousands of hours. The best games of the last 20 years were being released every 4 months and Runescape just couldn't keep my attention span in between the Halo franchise, Unreal Tournament, Half Life 1/2 etc.
