For both cars, I think the verdict is still up since both are super new. Ive been very much looking forward to testing the mg3 hybrid. Hopefully soon. Ty for commenting

It would be great ti have a side by side size comparison with the BYD seagull. VF5 is being sold for 910k here in Isabela, while BYD is being sold for 898k. I think they are direct competitors with regards to the price.
@testdriveph Thanks for the reply. Also leaning towards that (no subscription). I'm just concerned with the battery longevity though. I don't know anything about EV batteries so I don't know how long they'll last. But, I heard that they're EXPENSIVE to replace. Some even say, they're almost as expensive as buying a new car. Like, I wouldn't want to be spending for a replacement in the next 5 years. I'm not rich.

The BYD dolphin is excellent but quite far off from VF5s price wise, especially with the battery subscription. The seagull though, I have to test it but it'll be launching next week. Hope to have a go at it soon.
BYD is great. But still more expensive than VF5, VF3 (Dolphin. I tried it before: great). The power of dolphin is lower. And Dolphin is BYD, BYD is CHINA, CHINA is taking your money to build artificial island in your country. Is that enough information
Yes, a TH-cam channel rated it badly that it didn't mean it was bad. Why don't you see more positive reviews of other TH-camrs. Or ask the actual owner of that car instead of seeing a YouTuBer doesn't even know how to use the functions of the car. The best way is to test drive by myself, I am sure you will be surprised by its quality
that was model 2023 when VF fírst release their starting model and the chanel reviewed again model 2024 and all fixed! and you know what a car from communist country reviewed by an American?come on if you really interesting you should test by yourself don't just rely on anyone opinion! the VF8 in Vietnam so many people driving on the street and it even using as Taxi now no problems!

haha don't be silly. when you buy a mitsubishi, only the engine and body are made by mitsubishi, the rest come from suppliers like aisin, bosch, etc. even the engine isn't 100% made by mitsubishi, the piston rings, gears, bearings, even the engine control ECU aren't made by mitsubishi
