Facebook groups are also a really awesome place! There’s plant purge groups that are tricking awesome. There’s ones that are specifically $5 and under, $10 and under, etc etc.
When you’re done with pasta sauce jars or jam jars you can take the label off and wash It out and bam a propagation jar
I sometimes leave the label on cause some of them are super cute

I have found that small liquor bottles tend to have small mouths and as such are ideal for propagation. Unfortunately these type of bottles can often be found as litter in the city so it’s an excellent way to recycle reuse them. It’s easy to remove labels by pouring boiling water on them and then wiping them off, any excess adhesive can be removed easily with oil, such as spray on oils or even peanut butter.

Great tip re the recycling, I’ll be keeping an eye out for those bottles. Helps clean up the local park too, in a small way.

Speaking for the moms here:
I know it's a struggle deciding what to do with your "free time" while the baby is sleeping (could I sleep? do some laundry? can I get some work done? I should clean). I was always told to sleep when the baby sleeps and I wished that I had listened without guilting myself.
What I'm trying to say (as a mom of one 8 year-old with baby fever) please include Kai (sp) in more of your videos. That way you can more easily schedule rest, work and baby time. Love you soooo much! Keep up the great content. ✌

I loved all the tips! Definitely update us in a few weeks after they have all started growing roots or getting bigger. It helps to put the process in perspective because I get so impatient waiting for roots to show!

I just had a propagation fail today. It's getting really hot here and I had my cute babies in pots in sealed ziplock bags OUTSIDE in a sunny spot and a bunch basically cooked. Genius. I need this video.

It’s SO much worse AFTER having the baby.. and I think it’s at its peak at around 3-4 months post baby (when you’re an official zombie and the energy and novelty of “our new little bundle of joy” is depriving you of any and all sleep you once were getting!!)

Be careful as they may be confiscated. Some locations don't allow importation of certain, or any, plants. Why? Fear of importation of pests and diseases to native plants.
If the stem still has tubers on it you can prop that too, even without leaves it will root on the tuner end and leaves will grow from the other end, it’s true yep, just lay it on your growing medium and keep it moist

I bought 2cuttings of rhipsalis ramulosa in April 2019.Attempted to grow in soil...nothing. Then tried water..also nothing.They neither died nor grew 😳Then I watched your moss box method,watched it twice in fact. Holy crumb...2weeks after trying that method I have ramulosa roots! I have been propagating some of my plants like crazy, and then either throwing them back in the original pot to make it fuller or making a whole new plant, because you can never have too many plants, lol.
