Thanks for the review! Looks like we have similar tastes in headphones (Utopia and Phi TC here for my desktop listening via the Questyle CAS192D and CMA800R monos), I always value feedback on products from people who like similar gear to me. A Questyle dongle super appealing to me, will be interesting to compare to my L&P W2.
M15 doesn't sound like a dongle really. More like a mid high tier serious device. Questyle did an awesome job!
but does it suck? suck your battery dry heh.
There are soo many dongle dac released this year but the one that i want to try the most is Cayin ru6 (r2r dac) , shanling UA5 (true balanced dual ess dac+ dual ricore amp) it even have built in battery inside. I hope they send you the review unit soon.
Ru6 is amazing if you're into a wet, musical experience and prefer it over the technically-superior W2, I have both and I would go for RU6 everyday.
Really want to try this M15

Very interesting. Was looking at dongles but was not familiar with this model. On the radar now.
Shanling UA5 still takes the cake IMO when it comes to portability and when I say portability, that means the UA5 has it's own battery keeping it's performance consistent unlike dongles that draws power and at the mercy of the source unit's power which in most cases your phone. If the M15 would have had it's own power source.. then maybe I will be singing a different tune, maybe.
Thank you for the review!! Im getting one and my source preference is leaning towards neutral. Analytical is my thing and i have a high benchmark before i call it sterile or dry. Liked the vid but...
Even if, when we ear "all you need is..." is supposed to lead to a list of hi end stuff, sometimes is true the opposite.
The example you have made is perfect: Apple dongle and Etymotic SE, now beat this $100 combo in corectness with a thousand dollars of whatever is virtually impossible.
Now couple this M15 dac with an NX7 portable amp and you reach almost perfection level that surpasses even desktop setups
Nice review...have you tried dacport HD from Centrance? This dongle is a beast @ 775MW power output, without having the timbre issue of M15.

How's the M15 comparison to RU7 for Letshuoer DZ4, Sennheiser HD 660S, Hifiman Sundara? Which one should to go for?
Why didn't you connect to the balanced output?
Very interesting. I must audition these when I get a chance ! Especially since I'm looking for a mobile device /dap to replace my M17. Sajid ,if you can , please listen to the Cayin n8ii... I heard it last week and it was by far the most enjoyable Dap I've heard, and I've heard everything except the lp6pro. Just phenomenonal

I heard and compared it to the Qudelix - 5K with various headphones and IEM’s and went Quedelix
How is it compared to Hiby R5 Saber Gen 2 and Shanling M3X in sound quality sir? I’m thinking whether i will go with DAP or dongle dac/amp. Thank you.
This thing is hot in the treble. Recommend Qudelix5K over this, sounds better and smoother. Or a THX Onyx.

Talking of apple dongle I really like to listen just with apple dongle some of my under $100 IEM like Moondrop SSR, Blon 3 or CCA CKX with Dekoni foams… so it’s also synerg. Hi Sajid, and thanks for another great review. Wondering whether you got the Euforia, and if so, how did you find it. As I have been waiting for an opinion from someone whose taste and judgment I respect.
Thanks Saman. Loving the Euforia with ZMF. It's a very capable amp. Tends to smoothen the other headphones too much but with ZMF, rather lovely. Somehow the impedance matching or whatever is going on, it retains the ZMF and 6XX sound sig, and just makes them bigger, cleaner, more resolving, and more impactful.

Questyle customer service is terrible I had a very bad experience I threw my CMA400i in to garbage bin because for months they didn't respond to my mail and won't pickup the phone. But their high current technology is wonderful. But because of their customer service I won't ever buy Questyle products.
I fell regret for any company which didn't pay more attention on customer services. I plan to buy CMA fitten. But with your comment, I think again

tried Moondrop Kato with a random dongle given at the shop (M12) and have to search for this brand. Impressive.
How is the sound vs ifi zen can stack? Driving the my Focal headphones? I am waiting for your reply before I place my order on any of this
Haven't checked with the zen stack honestly. Ahmed Shafiul in the comments below, might know.
M15 is more dynamic, resoiving and precise. Driving Focals would be cakewalk, synergy with utopia was great from my experience. Zen stack is equally good though but the sound is a bit too thick and colored. Can get boring overtime.

Great review! I have their M12 and it seems to fit with most of your comments on M15. Now the question is, how would Questyle dongles compare to their CMA series?
