This is the most down to earth, practical, direct and interpersonal explanation I have ever heard in a few short minutes. She got to the point and now I am convinced. Also as she speaks she comes across as a human who had experiences with an internal eye where as many others act like textbook regurgitants.
Thank you for this video! You have such a clear and compassionate way of making sense of the confusion and heartbreak that comes from being in a close relationship with people with these traits.
All those points fit perfectly with the current Kenyan president, William Ruto. Psycopathy is an obsession with order and physical satisfaction at the expense of others.
No, just no. Never take a youtube as medical advise. When we talk to people in the medical field, one thing you should take extremely serious is what she said in the beginning, unless you get professional help, YOU CANNOT AND WILL NOT be able to know if they are psychopaths. What you hear from the doctor is a textbook answer that for all purposes is politically correct unless you are trained like her, you will NOT EVER understand the nuances that psychopathy has.
did you manage to escape the relationship? I'm just going to assume that it was at least as bad as you thought, since by the time people start to notice red flags in relationships in general it's often already very severe.
@@namenotfound8747 yes, but you don't need to actually know if someone is a psychopath or not, you just need to have an inkling that they might be which is more than enough to stay the f away from them
Not generally unless they know it will benefit them with regards to the one their communicating with. They have emotion but imagine that instead of feeling bad about something you tone it down by say 95% so they can perceive it but not it's not necessarily going to stop them in the way that negative experience would stop a "normal" person. It varies from person to person and so there is no hard line on the degree to which each person will feel this or that. It's a perception problem in the same way that say someone with Asperger's syndrome can't perceive social cues properly but can observe others and learn to interact through trial and error. The negative responses that most psychopaths develop I'd bet is largely dependent on how they were raised and the environment they live in which is applicable to all people. Truth is there are plenty of people who can perceive others just fine and they still choose to hurt them or to do the wrong things. That's not because their psychopaths but because of their upbringing and culture.

I have been victimized by a psychopath. It’s upsetting that people cover it up for them. This is my experience. Others cannot acknowledge that it’s happening.
Someone who creates a legal situation between myself and the police so that I am openly stalked with no help is a psychopath probably- they even hacked my computer so I wouldn’t be able to get legal help either. My brother has disappeared. He usually helps me.
I’m also pretty sure this psychopath doxxed me to this platform so mental health professionals would gaslight me. Pretty awful to do that to a vulnerable person. I hope you understand my family is now abusing me as a result and that I may die because platform’s like this agreed to hurt me.
Maybe Lisa could come forward with any information about who asked these platforms to significantly harm me- grand theft and at least 30 burglaries - being held against my will inside my house for 7 years utilizing threats and intimidation in my neighborhood - based on lies- I’m likely not going to survive- I need witnesses to cooperate in holding my stalker legally accountable.
No you are absolutely 10000% wrong about behavioral control. Some psychopaths have incredible behavioral control, hence why theyre disorder can go unnoticed their entire lives. Secondary psychopathy would have the characteristic of poor behavioral control. No, they do not all poor planning. Many people with psychopathy are extremely successful and able to plan and execute conplicated long term goals.
I am against psychopaths I hate them all they confuse, dilute and destroy my faith I wasn’t treated fairly and degraded by all of them they are fake family members, fake friends and I’m only grateful for this video and of course nothing less
She's describing everyone in the 3rd world and in the bottom class of society, and the upper managerial ranks. It's odd how that works - the upper ranks and bottom class share so much in common and they both prey on the people who do good work. If you want to squeeze more work out of your working class, just add to the number of bottom class bums and choose more psychopaths to lead corporations. And today we see both happening.
ADHD brain is constructed in a similar way as of a psychopath, so stimulation and the urge to do something new all the time is a big concern. I’m constantly looking for something new to do and constantly changing jobs and whatnot because of it
Psychopathy is from high testosterone and low cortisol but may involve other hormones or chemicals as well. They are intelligent. Physical signs are large head, bald or balding. Small almond shaped eyes, prominent cheekbones, ring finger is as long as middle finger.
Yes. It's a perception problem and most of those issues that are pointed out are the result of that lack of perception on the part of the person with the condition. aka those are the problems their likely to run into if their unaware of their own perception problems. Just like "normal" people lack the awareness of how much they are motivated by social status and emotion. aka that is why you see the comments of videos about psychopaths filled with people who are talking about how these people are so dangerous when "normal" people hurt each other for other reasons when they want say a job promotion or don't want to hear another person's views, etc. Those making such comments aren't interested in understanding, just social standing and are putting it out there so they can feel better than the people described in the video and to satisfy their own egos.
@@legionreaver btw, normal people don’t hurt each other. You are saying that some level of hurt is reasonable or excusable. Only to have a weapon and secretly accumulate that hurt into unbearable torment.
I guess the person who doxxed that nonsense here is the real psychopath considering these things have nothing to do with me at all. Offensive. Hurtful. Shocking.
How can you be a psychiatrist if you try to liken psychopaths with people who go through psychosis?! Totally opposite sides of the spectrum. This woman is talking BS.
If you payed attention, right after she mentioned the term "psychotic," she expressed that it wasn't what she meant, but rather a disconnect from reality in a grandiose way. Pay attention before insulting. The woman is obviously highly intelligent and insightful. Then again, you wouldn't know that because you can't even watch a 6 minute video accurately.
Psychopaths have “delusional qualities” but she clarifies that they aren’t actually delusional. They seem delusional because of the way they attempt to manipulate you. They don’t make any sense. They sometimes really believe what they say and sometimes they are gaslighting you. When you are around this 24/7 they can appear “delusional” but aren’t.

I dont think they can be changed. They can only be taught to behave in an appropriate way consciously
The first two minutes were like a detailed personal analysis of president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić. Incredible.
do you know any president that this doesn't apply to?
In other words ..your average Politician ..or Banker ..

Addiction can make you a sociopath it’s little different

Sounds like you're describing the narcissist or maybe I was wrong and the person I know is actually a psychopath
Psychopaths essentially seem to have no conscience and no empathy. Narcissists have some guilt or at least shame, and some empathy, just not a lot.
