    I found a 2014 with 35k miles for 104k looks so nice but wonder if should stretch for a 2017-18

    Great video. I have a 991.1 GTS and thinking about a used 991.2 Turbo. Is the Turbo good fun on a back road or is it more about the performance

      +Gareth Howells yes the turbo is great on a backroad. I’ve had other non-turbo 911’s and they’re all good but the turbo is so progressive and still similar handling to other models. Cross country and point to point a turbo has to be one of the fastest all weather cars you can buy. I loved it! Go and try one make sure you drive on back roads and a bit of dual carriageway to see the feel of the car. Good luck! And let me know!

      Many thanks for the response. Will book a test drive and see how it compares to the GTS. Thanks again great channel

      What is the difference between the turbo and the gts?

    • @SuperMet
      @SuperMet  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Performance really and the turbo has always been the king except for the GT cars. But it the stepping stone for the GT2 in my mind. The GTS is an amazing all rounder though and definately not to be overlooked. Drive safe! Sub and like 👍🏼

    Sport Chrono package is an option in the 991 Turbo. Standard in the Turbo S.

      Yes, the car had a fair amount of options. Even had the active engine mounts. Who ever built it should have probably bought the turbo S instead at the time. Drive safe!

    Love seeing my hometown of Sevenoaks in a 911 video! Am currently mulling over upgrading to a 2014 Turbo but in Spain, where the roads are a little better for Porsche driving.

      Spanish roads would be great! They’re so perfect, I took an old banger from Toledo to Santander and the roads made it feel like a Ferrari! Don’t mull over it! Buy one! two things worth considering, capristo exhaust ( unlocks the sound, a little extra bhp) and DSC suspension ecu transforms the car for road and track and I wish I had bought one beforehand. Oh and PPF the car. Let me know if you buy 991 turbo. Drive safely and thank you

    Not keen on sunroofs? yet wants a convertible who buys a non S Turbo for a few quid less than a TTS?

    • @SuperMet
      @SuperMet  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hate sunroofs, don't like convertibles at all, too heavy, turbo as it was a cheaper buy £15K less at the time with everything bar sunroof and ceramics which I hate. Plus once it was tuned I had well over stock turbo s anyway for much less with better intercoolers. So that's why really, thanks for watching.

      @@SuperMet Makes sense,
      right now nothing really 5k ish between the Turbo and Turbo S in used prices which makes the S a bargain

      I agree now, it would be my choice at this time. Waiting now for a bit. Works tough in property. So I’ll wait to get underway with my 964 build later in the year

      @@SuperMet Cool I will follow. To be honest Ive just bought a Turbo S Coupe from Porsche approved took me a year to find the spec and colour I wanted looking everyday!! Hence me now trawling all the Turbo clips, as Ive come from a V10 R8 Spyder. I know what you mean on the property front but HMRC still want their cut at the end of the month!!

      If you could only see my office at the moment!! Tax returns. Property after property and thousands of receipts infront of me. HMRC is killing the private rental sector now. Not looking forward to the tax bill this year! Enjoy the car, I have owned many 911's and I adored the 991. It's a grown up 911 with all the go you really will ever need. ~Stay safe!
