In these ancient days, Elminster is but a shepherd boy, dreaming of adventure and heroics. When a dragon-riding magelord sweeps down upon him, though, the boy is thrust into a world of harsh realities, corrupt rulers and evil sorcerers...
At last Elmisnter! I have a long road to hear but at least it is less than Drizzt. Here we answer the questions of why he is so sleight of hand and why he understands women so much! But the elf saying such critics to us humans, Elmara should have reminded him the Dark Disaster and the First Sundering.(elf dumb asses) But, we humans are wise not to anger our teachers with "unconfortable" truths.

I have been reading the Drizzt Saga, and am on book 10, but i get a lot of windshield time with my job. So glad I can now listen to this.
My absolute favorite FR series ed greenwood is a master and your voice is SO FITTING for this book you got a listener and a subscriber in me im looking forward to listening to these, i used to have them all in hard copy but when my apartment building burned down all my books were lost, thank you good sir i loveth thee
I have heard that Greenwood isn’t allowed to write novels anymore but I haven’t had a chance to look into it…

I read many of the series you have but nowhere near as many as I wanted...but fate has ordained that I am no longer in a place to sit calmly reading paperbacks and now ive found the next best thing, these I can do from the gym, from the Forest on my mountain bike or from my truck while commuting...so happy :)

Ed Greenwood is writing for both male and female imaginations. of all the books that could be made into cartoons or live action, here is the perfect story, the perfect set of characters, a variety of skin colors, different species, massive power in the hands of many females, the main character is both male and female, ambiguous sexuality, literally everything woke, but done within fantastic storytelling. from 1994... NINETEEN NINETY FOUR...wtf 🤦♂️
