one of the things that we can see as a direct implication is how the electoral system has been in favor of a few selected people who have political power or who came from influential families. Although, the constitution emphasizes in Article V that anyone can vote and anyone can run for office, however, until now, we can see the elitists are able to qualify to run for office and the probability for others are slim. And this affects our politics and governance in a way that there is slow progress and improvement since very few youngbloods, or new leaders are chosen for the high-ranking positions. Also, since the elitists are on the positions or in power, they are less conscious or inclined towards the issues and problems usually encountered by the lower class since they have not experienced this beforehand.
