Hey!!! Itzy just covered T-ARA'S ROLLY POLY i mean just so you might want to see them in different genre and T-ara are queens also :) T-ARA MEMBERS ALSO PUT THE SCREENSHOTS ON THEIR IG STORIES :) th-cam.com/video/TAlom3q9RF8/w-d-xo.html
The fact that your first impression to seventeen is them being theatrical kids when they're literally called the "theater kids of kpop" makes us carats so happy because you noticed it just from watching 2 mvs/choreographies of them. They have a whole bunch of bops and their music is diverse! I hope you could check out more of them (i recommend adore u/mansae/pretty u/fallin flower)
Svt is known for performance (got awards for it in years before) so I really like how u pointed out that they have character yet are clean because we can for sure see they are clean but I think sometimes people don’t appreciate their character/perform side because they just think them a good dancers so that I you for pointing that out
Ugh, I've seen every dance practice a million times and still get chills every time. As a dancer/choreographer, my favorite of theirs is Fallin Flower. Stunning MV, song, and choreo.
Fun fact: in the second chorus, 2:53 jeonghan (the person in the middle singing) does a common hand motion known in baseball and it means Homerun! Home;Run is also said to be as tiring as their other hard song Hit! I hope u react to Falling Flower cuz it’s beautiful or 24H cuz the choreography is unique as well.
I simply love Fallin Flower and it saddens me to say this but I'd like to warn here that sometimes reaction channels have Japanese releases blocked and flagged. And Thina already has a strike so I think is better if she didn't do it for the safety of the channel
@@juanpaula152 yes I would warn her for other idol groups but Seventeen is different. Usually other idol groups r signed to a Japanese company (Which r rlly strict on copyright) but Pledis have their own Japanese company called Pledis Japan (very creative) they also have their own Chinese company, so their rules work differently. They’re less stricter than Japanese companies. So it’s ok to upload Seventeen Japanese reactions. But I’d steer clear of Japanese live performances from Japan stations as they r strict. (Unless it’s the ones uploaded by Pledis then ur good). 😊
@@drinkwaternotalcohol thinking about it you are right. Pledis is way cooler than other companies when it comes to copyright and strikes. Let's hope she'll react to it Fallin Flower is in my top3 favorite SVT songs
8:51 The member who ran off is Seungkwan! he ran off because he had an ankle injury from previous dance practices (24h) but he really wanted to participate in the choreography so he did what he can by taking breaks in the middle to give his ankle a rest :)
First. :D YOOOOOOOOOO the first time I listened to "Home;Run" I lost it just because holy crap it really solidifies them as the theatre kids of kpop and the big band/jazz/swing vibe is SO me and RIGHT up my alley. (I've always wanted to learn swing dancing/lindyhop.) SEVENTEEN has, I would say some of the most difficult, intricate choreographies of all boy groups.
I want to point out that in weverse magazine they mentioned that yess they indeed refer a musical, its called "42nd Street" a story depicting people who are trying to go thru U.S great depression, set in 1933. in the mv, they also state that the newspaper is from 1926 so 30s and 40s are more appropriate for this, as swing/jazz with this sound of new orleans -ish is established around that era. also if you look at wonwoo clothes (the one in his neck) its a bit on the 20s fashion trend. alsoo the fun and jazzy steps from the choreo they try to mimic a musical choreography~ because they also talk about this in their commentary vides. thank youuu for this reaction, its reall a good video! i enjoy it a lot!
I love this choreo so much. As someone who also dances in groups with 10-20 members the sheer number of formations and how seamlessly they transition from one to the next just always blows my mind. You focus on one member for like 3 seconds and when you go back to the whole group you go "wait, how'd they GET here?" and have to rewind to watch the bit you missed. XD
Seventeen are the kings of creativity. I saw someone point out that the whole baseball theme has to do with the “swing” influence in the song. The concepts they come up with are crazy.
As a fellow dancer lol, I was shook when I realised that they’ve been this good when it comes to clean lines and character since debut but I am also completely obsessed with the song and choreo like wow
another theatrical-style choreography is pretty u! i also really rec don't wanna cry, thanks, fallin flower, and crazy in love as just a few personal favourite choreos of theirs
wow, love your reaction.. this is not relatively new but the most theatrical choreo they have is PRETTY U. please react to Don't Wanna Cry as well. :) plus more SVT choreos.. haha
Hi! I came across your videos of SVT only just recently. I've become a carat when I saw this music video. I am a lindyhopper, and I noticed that many different Lindy hop movements and footworks were interpreted and fused into the choreography. It is not the most showy dance, so they must have done a lot of research and practice to blend the actual 20's and 30's dance into their modernized music. Also when Vernon says 'hurray hurray', the Korean words are 얼씨구 절씨구, and you can hear in the background the sound of 태평소, a Korean trumpet that is mainly used for 사물놀이, let's say...traditional Korean party music ;) Thank you for making fun videos of Kpop- !
thank you so much for your reaction, i love your analyzation!!:D i would love to see your reaction on their japanese title track 24H MV + choreo vid, it's a super cool and an amazing, sexy bop song and the choreo takes the concept of an actual clockwork!!
The group debuted in 2015 under Pledis Entertainment. Within the 13-member group, there are three sub-units: Performance unit, Hip-Hop unit, and the Vocal unit. SEVENTEEN is dubbed as a "self-producing idol group", as all the members have been involved in songwriting, choreographing, composing, and other aspects of their performance. In 2018, Time Magazine named SEVENTEEN as one of the best K-pop groups. Seventeen also makes fanchats for Carats ( their fans). They are also known for their crazy synchronization and choreographies. Hoshi is their main choreographer from the performance team Woozi is the songmaker from the Vocal Team Scoups is the leader of the group In vocal team you have Woozi Dk Jeonghan Joshua ( American/Korean ) Seungkwan In hip-hop team you have Scoups Vernon ( American/Korean ) Mingyu Wonwoo In performance team you have Hoshi Jun ( Chinese) The8 ( minghao ) ( Chinese ) Dino ( the maknae ) Oh yeah they are a multi group that has Korean, American and Chinese.
Fun fact that beautiful boy singing "I can't stop the feeling" with that amazing tone at 2:13 is Mingyu he's actually one of the rappers of the group 💙 I indeed stan a multi talented group PS: The boy you saw running off is Seungkwan he's one of the Main Vocals of the group and he had a surgery after an ankle injury and to not miss this comeback he goes away for the more challenging parts of the choreo. He's fine already :) PS2: The boy that does that majestic floor turn at the ending of the song is The8 (MingHao, one of the Chinese members) he's a Lead Dancer and has training in b-boying and contemporary

One of the members had injured himself while learning chores and had to have surgery. He was still healing and so for this comeback he sat out for some of the chores but joins in later near the end.
Thina, thanks for your awesome SVT reaction, as always, that warms my Carat heart and makes me prouder of the boys (if that were possible)... ^-^ Since you've mentioned constantly how theatrical they are, I think you'd like their Pretty U MV and choreo... :) Also you can react to Easy to Hardest Seventeen Dance video...You might see snippest of their older dances that you'll hopefully react to in the future... :) Also you might like Fallin' Flower mv and dance practice... :)
Also the person you mentioned you saw run off and re-enter is Seungkwan, who is part of the maknae line and a main vocal --you also keep appreciating his voice. He had an ankle operation and was recovering during this time so they created the choreo to just allow him to do certain parts (he's in this for a good amount though)...
