I decided to loc my hair 4 months after cutting my locs cause a girl was tired of combing. Loc life is theeee besssst. I love it! My journey is very similar to yours because our texture is similar. I am on month 7 and I am still getting accustomed to my natural hair after wearing wigs and hair extensions for soooo long! However, it is just as you stated a very humbling experience that I go from love to hate but always moving forward without many regrets. 😊 I am learning from you and others that bleach is not your hair friend. In which case, I am convincing myself to not indulge when the true hang time comes into effect. 😂 Continue your journey because they are definitely flourishing and beautiful like you.
I wanna restart mines ! Only bc I’ve bleached them in February 🫠 . The front is thinner than the back should I just cut them off or is there a way I can get them to thicken up? The back is soo thick it’s like four or five pieces in the front that’s a little thinner😭 I’ve only had them for a year and 8 months
I feel like having locs in the summer really forces confidence bc it is to hot to have locs covered June-August

you can try moisturizing them more and retwisting less and just being patient but bleach really does damage locs
