Really cool! Do you think about swapping the exhaust for a higher one or don't you think it's necessary? I bought the HP Corse High exhaust that mounts to two bolts where the license plate carrier is mounted to but it has one small problem and that's the space my right foot needs is now a little obstructed by the new exhaust pipe... 😂😂
You are not the first to ask this question😉 I don't feel the need to change it to a high mount just yet. Have dropped the bike a lot and it didn't cause any serious so far. Didn't know that the exhaust would come so close to your feet. Good to know for the future perhaps👍
Great breakdown! Did you notice a difference in handling from the low fender to high fender at speed? I like the look, but cant lose handling on the freeway. Thanks!
Greetings from germany. Realy nice build 👍 Do you know wich size of footpegs you choosed from Bosley? I think about it a few days but couldn‘t decide wich size i want
Nice 👌🏻 interesting to hear what others are changing. I’m contemplating taking all the crash bars off as they’re so heavy and just take the risk. May also switch bashplate from AdventureSpec to a lighter plastic one.
Excellent bike man! Regarding removing one of the front brakes - how much ‘worse’ is the front brake now? And was it simply removing one side, or did you get a bigger rotor with bracket for caliper?
Thanks mate! It certainly reduces the braking power a bit, but my tyres are still the limiting factor when it comes to braking. It is still plenty for my kind of use, which is mainly offroad riding. I simply removed the rotor and caliper. Didn't bother changing to a bigger rotor just yet, as I wanted to test out this setup first. Which till now, seems to work just fine👍
Thanks a lot for the information - I just might end up doing the same, just because I love to shed weight on my bikes 😁 Might be hard to justify to the ‘crowd’ after taking a more adv-touring route, but the offroader in me wants more offroad 🤘
@@JohannesDalen I know the feeling🤣 Sounds like a plan! Although I think in your case, if you happen to use your T7 for travelling as well, I would go for a bigger rotor and use a conversion bracket for the caliper.
I think I will sometime in the future, but I also want to try with the stock rotor, lines and MC, just to see. Thanks so much for your information and help, ‘earned’ a sub 😁
@@JohannesDalen Stock MC for sure won't work, I can tell you that. Also you need some new brakelines. But those are relatively cheap changes. To compensate for the removal of the disk you will need an MC that moves half the amount of brake fuel compared to the stock MC. Thanks for subscribing, it's an honour😉
Looks good! Could iterate on that canister 7:23? Do you know the current weight of your bike? Are you planning to replace your muffler (that is a big weight saver)? If so, which exhaust are getting?
Thanks! Sure, the canister is a part that uses fumes coming from the fuel tank and redirects it into your intake manifold. It connects with 2 hoses to the intake and with 1 hose to a tilt sensor that blocks the fuel when the bike is dropped. I do in fact plan on getting an exhaust. It will be a Black widow exhaust. I didn't bother changing it till now, cause I have the tendency to drop my bike every now and then. I haven't been able to weigh the bike yet, but I have weighted the parts that came of and they were 10kg's all together.
Ah, I have just one question. How do you feel with the tail tidy? I learned that someone return to the regular one because it's more protective against the dirty stuff pulled up by the rear tire...
Not much was needed. Just remove the fuel tank, so you have acces to the hoses that are coming from it. Remove all the hoses, plug the holes, take the canister out by cutting the rubber sleeve that holds it in place. I can't share picture here and I won't make a seperate video just about that single part. What do you need to know?
Not to hijack my dear friends video here, but I removed the cannister yesterday. Made a video I’ll publish on sunday about it. Not a full how-to, but at least you’ll see more of how it’s done. Simple procedure and I like the cleaner look and space. The removal was inspired by Guido here 😁
Congrats! Looks super. Do you first remove the old graphics before putting on the new ones? Or you leave the old graphics on to be able to later restore to original?
Nice mate.. that custom bracket for your front fender. i really like it. is er een manier om daar aan te komen ?
No I didn't. I will get back to you when I have measured the weight. I took off 10 kg's this winter, and I have taken off a few other bits and pieces earlier.
No pessenger footpegs but pessenger handles 🤔🤭 Ok, talking seriously.. 😜 Your bike needs only one improvement to reach the absolute perfection: an high exhaust/muffler ✌ 😉 Nice bike btw! Definitely stunning.
I won't change to a high mount any time soon. I have crashed my bike quite a few times, and it hasn't caused any real problems with the exhaust just yet. Thanks!😊
@@Gwiedert same here. My exhaust is still fine after a crash I had in off. Same for the frame. Nothing seems to be bended at all.. sometimes some comments I found in internet are a bit odd to me.
Good go. You may want a HP Corse exhaust system. It goes inside the support. Sounds great as well.
I will mount a Black widow exhaust. Don't see the need for a high mount just yet..

Really great job! Where i can find the fork support to brake line guide??
Nowhere😉 You have to make one yourself..
Love it. Nice one!
Looks awesome buddy!!!
Now just a muffler replacement to shave even more weight and getting that awesome CP2 sound uncorked 😊
Thanks!
I will indeed replace the muffler soon, for something lighter and better looking😉

I will, this weekend!😁
Greetings... great video thanks. What weight/rate springs are you running front and rear?
Thanks! 90 rear, 6 up front when I made this video.

Thanks! No I didn't. Besides, I don't go past 120km/h anyways.
Bike looks great! I noticed you have a small exhaust header guard, just above the skid plate...where did you get that? Thanks
It's stock on every euro 5 model😉
Where did you say you bought the decal kit from?
Motostill
Hi, where can I find the bracket that holds the plastic piece still on the front forks? Thanks!
It's just a cover. I made them myself.
@@Gwiedert Isn't it attached to the bracket that is attached to the fork?

I choose the standard size. It offers plenty of room for your feet. Bigger pegs tend to get caught behing branches and stuff.

Bashplate sits down low, it's weight you notice the least. Just so you know😉
@@Gwiedert Agreed - but heavy nonetheless. May not replace it, other things to do in the meantime that are more impactful.
What is the rear tire size? Is MC 360 ok on the highway?
140/80. It is just fine on the highway.

10kg is substantial! Those BWE sound so dark and deep🎶🎶
Offroad 2 bar in this tire is a lot.
I drive 1-1.4 bar in the same tire with holder (1.85 and 2.5" rims)
This tire are very strong.
It is a lot, but as long as it gives me enough grip it's fine. And it reduces de wear rate.
I am using stock rims without rim lock btw.
Where can I get these mirrors?
Search for supermoto mirrors. Any will do. It's just to keep it "legal".
