I bought the bike two weeks back, and just checked last Sunday. I will be figuring out what size sockets I need. I'm planning a cross country trip from East to West coast, US.... The original Honda tool set, I can say about it that it is quite high quality. What a beauty of a garage you built, awesome!!! And thanks for the invitation👍
For oil filter removing you can use screwdriver what you can hammer into oil filter. Then you can get rid of oil filter cap :). Also you can remove filter with strap or belt. There is hole in the swingarm with rubber cap where you can store light weighted items like gloves, towel, swab etc.
Excellent as always. I really should sort my tools out.... did the last trip with none but won't chance it again. I'll drop in for a beer sometime.... who knows when! Safe travels.
I am a new rider, and I'm very inspired by your channel. Quite soon i will purchase a Tenere like your old one, the xt660z. If you are passing by Barcelona on your trip you should know you have a friend here.
Nice, Pavlin. You made your man-cave exclusively for you and kindly welcomed any respectable guest. From my own perspective, I find everything practical about it. It was personally created by you and for you, according to what you were able to afford to put into it. And lastly, thanks for the idea of the minimalist tools acquisition demonstration and layout. Godspeed on your next adventure.
Down to earth as ever Pavlin, take only what you need,no more no less.Function before form every time😉 Great minds must think alike as your rear mudflap is exactly the same as I made for my CB500X!😁
Thanks for another useful and informative video. Im definitely going to use your info on building my toolkit for my T-700. Can’t wait for the next video
Simple bike requires simple tools. Another reason the Tenere is so good. My 500x is similar, although I miss my old 660! Great space Look forward to seeing it one day Happy travels 👍
I'll be at the NW200 road races in Northern Ireland this week, I love checking out the paddock workshops. Your approach to only necessary tools is exactly the same, if they/you don't need a 9MM fitting on the bike then it's not in the tool box /kit. NW200 200mph+ on closed public road circuit a spectacular event. Gonna be big this week, missed due to the pandemic for two years. Maybe you'll make it on your travels some year? 🤔
Just to let you know, I leave in two days for a 3100 kms trip. Will review my old Yamaha XT tool kit with these tools. Thank you so much Pavlin, ride safe!

I've been meaning to get myself one of those tool holsters, so it would be easier to keep the tools I use on my bike, together. The ones in stores here do not suit me though, because I have few odd shaped tools. I might need to sew one myself, of old jeans or something.
