The Arm Forces of the Philippines Budget is only P240B while the AYUDA IS P550B. Better suspend AYUDA for the time being and add that fund to AFP budget in order to bulk up on armaments needed by AFP for modernization undertakings necessarily needed to protect the Philippines territory from communist chinese aggression.

The acquisition of six T129 ATAK attack helicopters and the placement of a sophisticated and powerful Turkish ASELSAN's GÖKDENİZ-100/35SA Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) on the new BRP Miguel Malvar (FF-06) frigate launched recently by Hyundai in South Korea, is an indication of how both the PH and Turkey are become closer in defense matters. Btw, the TCG Kınalıada (F-514) is certainly one fine-looking corvette!

Need ng PH yung drones nla used by Ukraine to destroy Russia's large warships. Ito yung game changer ng Ukraine against Russia's battleships.
Modern warfare ngayon requires drones. Maski without warships ang Ukraine, they disabled one third of Russia’s naval ships using both missles & drones only without the need for battle ships.
PH will need also starlink use for these drones against China’s many warships. No need for additional expensive manned battleships.
But we also need proper training use with these drones pronto!

If we want to stay politically neutral and the administration has intentions to remain so amidst china usa tensions, turkey could be a great ally in theory.
How many years we have been trying to stay out of trouble but China always coming at our EEz harassing and bullying us.
We try our best to resolve in a diplomatic way, we won the arbitration,it's closer to us 😅than in china but they keep harassing,they keep on patrolling inside our EEZ.
Let's try other way to deter China, we don't want war as much as they but let's armed our AFP so that they will respect our territory, if we can't then let's station US armaments,even ballistics missiles. It's the same if US is attacked we would also be part of the war. So why keep on holding back,we had try our best to settle it in a peaceful way but ain't working well.
Politically neutral is just a diplomatic slogan. The Philippines today is Pro-America, Pro-West. The previous administration was Pro-China.
