watching these newer pvp videos are so much better, before watching someone shrike into a shad was sooo boring. now it’s so much more fun to watch, great vid sauce
There’s a clearly unintentional bug with some spells, so instead of reporting it, some people decide that they’re going to abuse it for meaningless in-game rank. Makes no sense.
this is the only game i've ever played where people defend exploiting lmao. every other game i've played if someone gets banned for a season for abusing something unintentional nobody even contests it, but on this game you have a bunch of people saying "it's in the game!!!!!" like that matters at all
Especially if it's something that negatively affects other players like this. Yes, the developers severely dragged their feet with getting a patch out for this, that's true, I'm not going to deny that. I don't PvP (never have), but it certainly isn't fun if someone is knowingly abusing something broken. In any competition based game, like you said, abusing bugs should absolutely get punished. I can understand someone using something once or twice, or not knowing that something is wrong (like spellemented troll), but when it's clear that you should reasonably know it shouldn't work that way, that's definitely where you are going too far.
Shadow. Usually if he says he’s gonna shad, he means use a shadow enhanced hit. If he says I didn’t get the shad (or something similar) he means he didn’t get his shadow pip which are used for the shadow hit
A shad refers to a special pip that you can get in addition to your normal pip for turn. You can have up to 2, and they can only be used as a requirement for certain spells. A shad can also refer to some of those spells, mainly those that require normal pips, and hit way harder than a non-shad spell of the same level.
They do. They claimed that they needed to wait on a patch window before putting it out. Since then, after it did get patched, they found some more issues, and they actually took the game down for an emergency hotfix a few hours later. Stuff like this is exactly why they should have put it in test realm, where bugs like this should be expected.
Keepin it a buck: exploiting is perfectly fair beyond like 3 business days of an exploit existing. After a certain point, a spell not working as intended eventually becomes a hotfix that has been refused to be implemented. Devs aren't allowed a permanent "No, you don't actually have egg on your face" pass for things existing in the game the way they do. Toxic to the rest of the community, yes, but in the short term. TBH, I think those who exploit go into it more with the thought of "Please, go ahead and ban me for your mistake. I'm dying to leave this trash game. Or don't." And if they don't, the slight internal boost they get from exploiting just helps to slightly offset the baseline nonsense they have to deal with on the daily with the game. Devs should be more on their shit than players should be resisting the temptation to even the scales. Full stop. We pay their bills, not the other way around.
"how are you going to use 100 drains, I use 50 drains yet you lost 100 percent of your rank"
best quote from this vid. had me cackling

They outta know it's a glitch by now so they'll fix it when they feel like it, whenever that is knowing KI.

can i ask what shad is? im pretty new to wiz but i love watching your pvp despite not really knowing anything.

“Out shading” is when the opponents shadow gauge is filling faster than his

@@connorwhatley2513 ahh gotcha. Thanks
The shark goes crazy tho
I hardly use this spell but was unaware of this thats just plain stupid
I’m certain the devs have the ability to disable a spell at will wonder they won’t fix it or take it out temporarily
