I have been riding the BMW R1100GS everyday for the last 22 years. I have never seen anyone ride it like this. Please make more videos! You are amazing!
I've seen people take most every vintage of the boxer GS to most every far-flung corner of this ball of mud but I have never seen anyone manhandle one of these like this. Incredible. I notice you have heavily modified this machine as well, may I ask what front fork and subframe you're using?.... This beast was not born in the dirt was it? This thing looks like it sees an HP2 Enduro and scoffs in Old High German.
Hello… At first, thanks for kind words 😅😅…Ur right… Bike has been modified a lot… Rear shock is custom made, 18inch wheel in rear, tiny subframe made from original 1100 one, front frame is from Berrt nedherlands, but this one is a copy. Its steel frame allows you to use normal USD forks… Mine are single chamber WPs with 950 SE spec.
Thanks mate... I hope I will make more of videos like these... You can follow my instagram where are some short videos with this ,,Beast,, its @honzazlab ;)
I use TFX rear shock with maximum possible travel... I had rear shock from 1150adventure, but it wasnt enough... So I have orderes shock from TFX and it works perfect now :)
No sorry, I dont… It took about 6 years to make it into final look (it has been facelifted after this video) but there is walkaround on my IG accound ,,honzazlab,,
Lasse Olsson Jonathan Griffiths main aspect was the price... There are nearly no GS parts used on this bike, so it really doesnt matter what model it is... But as I said... GS models are nearly more than two times expensive, so it was easier to buy this crashed R1100RS for less than 1000€ ;)
@@honzazlabek thanks for the answer. Great point being the price. The GS is expensive indeed. Do you have any pictures or description of the build? Would be fun to see the transformation.
p1t45 sorry, I have just few photos, but you can imagine it :) Engine, gearbox, swingarm and rearwheel drive with 18inch rear wheel... Add front frame with KTM forks and wheel, Lightened rear frame with motocross mudguard... TFX rear damper for bigger rear wheel travel... Cover it with tank from R1100R, put RadeGarage front mask with Led lights on it and its done :)
Chucking it around like it was a 250.Very well done

you can do enduro climbs to this level with GS only if you are already a badass and very good skills !
I have skills maybe in big bike, but on light enduro I suck ;) Believe me

Dobře Ty :)
amazing r1100. It is really heavy. What on earth have you done with R1100gs?
It still has around 210 kilos…
Ive just stripped some parts :)
Cool bike. 👍🏻 What did she say..? 😎
She said ,,Jeezus and than something mothers say when little kids fall to the ground :D
Is the front suspension not a telelever or whatever it’s called anymore?
Yep, telelever is gone and it has normal ktm usd forks… Check out my instagram profile for more photos
,,honzazlab,,
Ah, there are the videos 😆awesome build!
Thanks :) Check out my IG (honzazlab)… Bike has facelift till this video
Can you share the mods? I see the telelever is removed. Also, is there a particurlar reason why R1100GS and not R1150GS ?
Check out my instagram account ,,honzazlab,, there is some talking about the bike in highlights and plenty of pictures ;)
jesus look at this guy! riding a 1100 like it is a 250.
Honza Žlábek..?
Ano :)
Is this bike an HP2?
Nope, its not… Heavily modified R1100 it is :)
