I've noticed that whenever Vergil finishes an animation in the middle of combat where he sheaths Yamato, the moment that flash happens when it's fully sheathed, his DT gauge goes up. And the amount filled actually depends on which animation it is. If Vergil sheaths Yamato after attacking, only 1 to 3 bars are filled at a time. But if he finishes his motivation taunt, he gets back almost half his entire DT gauge.

You don't really have to be that fast with the controller to master Vergil. The most important thing is knowing how to stay in max Concentration and never run out of DT, and there's a lot of ways to do that

against the chicken boss (can't remember the name) I accidentally discovered that if you use the Beowulf super move in the boss's first attack phase (where he does the teleporting head attack) you do stupid damage if you get lucky(?) and multiple instances of the boss are on the field at the moment...don't know how likely it is but it was literally my first move against him and it dealt about 98% of his health bar and I finished him off with two judgement cuts.

You wanna know what's funny? I was playing as Vergil in Bloody Palace, and it was going well until I reached Stage 88, where I died to 2 Furies. I find it absurd that I could defeat THREE Furies with EASE on Stage 70, yet I lost to a mere TWO Furies at that stage. Luckily though, I replayed said stage in Warmup Mode and cleared it easily.
The reason you died is probably due to how BP scales difficulty. Post stage 80 is DMD, post 60 is SOS, post 40 is DH, and pre/post 20 is Human difficulty
I wish Virgil's regular devil trigger was in the game so we could see the model. I also would have liked an in-game explanation why Virgil, after becoming complete, had sin devil trigger.
Probably not , only Vergil have enough good skills to do things like this. Stunning round trip , multiple triple judgment cuts and others. Dante would need Quadruple S on every style rank (D-SSS) to make this challange possible , not talking about the rest. Stage 70 and 88 would end Dante no damage run for sure.
@@hollowjay4423 It's definitely doable-Dante is my most played character in Bloody Palace, and I was able to do a full no-damage run myself. I just wanted to see a much higher level of play from SmvR, and I'm sure he's fully capable of doing it.
@@thefull9746 he didn't , in his bloody palace run you can see that in some stages his time and red orbs value are different , he just makes you think that he didn't take a simple hit , same with his DMC4 bloody palace he edits some stages , expecially first 20 , but soon after he takes damage. He's very good player but he's not a god to control enemies' behaviour.

Even though I have something about 1500h in all DMC franchise (DmC included , f**k all haters) and yes it's possible as Dante and Vergil , maybe even Nero since he has buster grab so he don't even need to go down if are good enough with jump cancel. Since all characters have very good configured skills and even begginer players can do some good combos in air (expect V , griffon or shadow can't jump cancel imao). But you can't deny that DMC4 bloody palace would be impossible , expecialy as Dante coz in 4 he's very hard to play and it takes a lot of time to learn.

I hate to correct you on this, but even if you beat the prologue on your first try, you still unlock Mission 1, with Vergil, I myself was actually able to beat the prologue first try on DMD mode, and Mission 1 was still unlocked.

It did. His time as urizen an eating of the fruit from the god tree coupled with facing his demons as V confronting his nightmares.
