We’ll thank you this is very helpful I’ve been spotting them on Amazon for a while and it seems they have a deal going on for some I just wanted to know if it was a good buy or not I’m gonna buy it.
Probably one of the worst machines on the market. Sold mine. Sharp edges on metal parts (cut my finger) old maid's drawer allows debris to fall under the deck, door does not close properly (design flaw) and allows popped to kernels to fly out onto the floor and the popcorn just doesn't cook properly and seems chewy. Cabinet is too small and even the enclosed scoop is too big for the cabinet. The kettle is tricky to remove and install for cleaning. Beware : the ceiling (cheap metal ) will start to rust. Made in China. Spend more and buy a machine made in the USA--there are three brands and good used units can be found.
If the popcorn is chewy, it's the popcorn, not the machine. And the gap at the top of the door is to let steam out. If it didn't allow steam to escape, THAT will make the popcorn "chewy". I've had mine for almost 2 years, and the door seals fine. Occasionally, and I mean very occasionally, a few pieces of popcorn might escape through the gap, but it's no big deal. Picking up a piece of popcorn isn't going to wear me out lol. If there's more than that coming out, it sounds to me like the door wasn't put on right. And the ceiling on mine has been just fine. All the other things are a matter of opinion. I find the size of everything just fine and have no problem removing the kettle and cleaning it or the rest of the machine. Takes me about fifteen minutes, unless I'm boiling out the kettle, which takes a little longer. But It doesn't have to be boiled out after every use. Only when it starts to build up excess carbon, etc. in the kettle.
Don’t worry about the noise, hearing children laugh and play is one of God’s greatest blessings.
Nice popcorn machine, btw!
thank you so much for a review on it I'm considering buying
Hope you enjoy it!
