The iPad is at the absolute centre of my productivity throughout all areas of my work. A single device that can cater for all of my needs. And there’s a lot to be said for this. For my needs the iPad is the number 1 choice for me.

I have a Galaxy Tab, but regardless of the operating system, I'm glad to see these tablets getting better and better for the average and advanced user.
I still keep my laptop but whenever I have to go out 99% of the times I only take the tablet with me. Nice video!
I couldnt get the iPad so I stuck to a Galaxy Tab and I loved it! It really helped my productivity and it helped wonders with portability. Having a heavy windows laptop is great for performance but the thing is basically a desktop computer. Having a tablet with a useful pen is life changing. Thanks for the tips, Jil!!!
What are your most used Apps and work cases? I found that certain apps web applications website dont have the full functionality as the desktop versions. For example most google services
@@Milan-cf1xe Yes! I keep it simple. Samsung Notes, Google Keep, Canva... Basic native apps. I had to make a Wix website recently and it was impossible to do on the tablet. Not a single web based application works great. Not a single one. Including Figma. So if you do that, I would steer clear from tablets. To me its been perfect because it helped me separate the "light work" from the hard stuff. Now I can start prepping my work anywhere, anytime and finishing the heavy workload on my PC at home.
I also bought a Magic Keyboard case for the Samsung tablet and it works fantastic! It expanded the functionality and made it even more practical. I paid around 70 USD for it.
Hi Jill, I have to say that I love the vibe and professional but intentional approach to creating content here on TH-cam. I get the sense that you have a very mindful way of thinking about producing your videos. And although this one here is a tech review or "what it's been like using x product" video, I feel relaxed and calm watching it. I just subscribed!
I agree with you.I also use my iPad as my main computer.
I work totally off an ipad. Although i do have the Magic Keyboard i also am finding that the majority of the time i use my ipad in a folio case.
Great video. Maybe chapter markets please. 😊. Have a wonderful day 😊.
Recently come across your channel and loving it and the focus on work side of things so hard to find on TH-cam!
Would love a deeper dive on your use of OneNote and anything else you might do from a work prospective like outlook, loop etc as having a full time job like yourself but wanting to make the most of other tech or apps and just be on top of things :)
Love what you’re creating on the iPad. Great mix of simplicity and quality. I affirm your decision to stick to the iPad.
Another good one Jill. I love the portability of my iPad. Thanks
Thanks Jill. You always have a little tip or idea 💡 we can walk away with.
Thanks so much for an engaging video from someone with a real job. So many videos are from students or TH-cam creators. Your videos are awesome
Hi Jill 👋 I would love to see a workflow of your video planning and edits 🙂 Following in your footsteps soon 🔜 in my space. Thanks! 🙏
Its been a long time since TH-cam showed me your video on my feed! Nice to see you! Entertaining and useful video. ✨
great video, as always, super simple to digest 🙂 I have always wondered about using one note, I know it's very powerful and very adaptable, but I there is always this lingering thing that I'll change jobs and lose all my notes, so I have to keep non-work stuff in Apple notes and don't want two systems. First world problems, obviously. For what it's worth, your production is top notch so whatever you're doing on the iPad it works ✌🏻
Very confident video and very easy to listento. well done😃😃
i love to see how you use Loop, it’s hard for me to started on it.
Nice video. Very informative.
I couldn't quite see which size iPad Pro dare you using? The 11in or the 13in one?
I would love to use my iPad Pro 12.9 as my only “laptop.” I am a writer and have been unable to figure out Amazon kindle publishing on it. I love using the iPad for writing for the touchscreen. Wish Macs had it!
Nice video. You mentioned that you needed to learn from scratch how to edit videos. How did you learn all the things needed to edit and produce these videos.
I love your videos. Can you produce a video showing how you edit your videos on the iPad?
Hi Jill. Do you use OneNote just for note taking, or also to storage some important info like docs or pdf?
How do you create templates in Apple Notes? Do you have a video about that?
The last month I am trying super hard to use ONLY my iPad Pro M4 13” as my only computer. It took some effort but, my MacBook Air M2 is shut more than 30 days…
Touch some grass before touching your stinky ipad
What size of iPad is this please?
11 inch
@
Thank you, any particular reason you picked this size?
I actually have M2 12.9” iPad Pro and can’t help but feel it may be too large/heavy
I’m considering downsizing, but wonder if I’ll end up with buyers remorse and missing the extra screen space (1st world problems)
ahh don’t worry, I’ve just caught up on your back log and see there’s an entire video dedicated to this very question 👍
Hi Jill, I'm curious about how you edit your videos on an ipad. What software do you use? Do you transfer the raw file to your ipad directly from a usb or card reader, or save the file e.g. in dropbox, then download it to your ipad? Thanks!
I spoke too soon! I got to the part where you mentioned you use Final Cut Pro :)
Lumafusion is good too for iPad video editing. I dump all my source video files on an external SSD then when I'm ready to work on an edit, connect the SSD to the iPad and just copy over the source files I need. I do have a desktop too, so sometimes use an app called Kyno to do a quick top-and-tail of any long source videos so I have something roughly the right cut before dropping it in to Lumafusion. Keeps the file size on the iPad must smaller!
WOW…. I’m impressed that you’re so new to all of this. I’ve thought about doing content… but I lack all the same stuff. Kudos to you for doing it… and doing it so successfully. Your video and presentation comes off as something you’ve been doing for years.
@@jmz.. thank you for sharing!
Wanted to try something like this. iPad won't let me import my passwords without a Mac. How stupid is that?
I recommend using Bitwarden as your password manager
More on your iPad and less on your sponsor
In case you missed it, TH-cam for many creators is a revenue stream, and sponsorships are an integral part of that. I support her incorporation of these useful add-ons to make the process worth the time that it takes to give us this content.
An iPad is unable to export a video and do email or anything at the same time. Not able to multitask. Useless
That means the iPad is not for you. A laptop computer might work for you since you want to multitask like crazy.
Doing something else while you are exporting a video is multitasking like crazy for you?
@@koenignero That “something else” could be two things so I say yes. Maybe you could do something else without involving your electronic device like sweeping the floor or petting your dog or maybe just go outside for a walk to move your body. There’s lots of things to do, man 🤷♂️
@@elyt of course but thats not the comparison. The Comparison is an M4 iPad vs. any Macbook
@ Well, too bad no thing is perfect 🤷♂️
You should have gone for Android tablets. I sheeps are crazy 🤣🤣😂.
What storage option did you get?
