@@markusrosehill I tried to find that cave - Grota di san Lucano , I climbed up, but I still couldn't find it. I'm thinking of coming back in a year and trying again. I also have one video in the Dolomites and Switzerland, you can appreciate it.

Great video tour of the Dolomites. Thanks for the tip to start early to see Tre Cime and for showing how some of these trails look from hikers' POV. It appears you both hiked these areas around late Summer since it was very crowded. Cardini di Misurina is definitely worth hiking to if one is in the vicinity.
Another amazing video and when you speak , you speak through your heart . The Dolomites are breathtaking. I hope one day you will visit New Zealand or the Kimberly in Western Australia .
Wow, what a wonderful video! I am a big fan of your channel but this video is by far my favourite! The drone footage captured the area so peacefully and your skill slaying is done with a wonderful elegance. I hope to visit very soon and I will certainly be using this video as a reference 👍 Thank you friend 😊
That’s amazing! You will enjoy them immensely! We stayed in different places, depending on the availability (incl. price level as accomodation in the Dolomites is pretty expensive). One hotel was mentioned in the video, we can recommend it.
Great video and awesome pictures!!!! 👍👍👍 I was many times in the Dolomites for hiking and photography. I was also a few times at Tre Cime and did the round tour. It's really awesome there but very crowded, if you reach the region in peak season. Unfortunately I missed the view point to the Cadini group, so far. But the way looks a little bit sketchy... I'm not sure, if I'm able to go there, because I'm a little bit afraid of heights sometimes. Due to the same reason, I was not at the Sorapis lake so far.... Keep on your great work! 👍 br
Thanks! ☺️ The trail to the Cadini di Misurina viewpoint isn’t too sketchy, it’s a pretty wide path, nothing too dangerous. And actually, there’s a second viewpoint, the one in my last shot (and the thumbnail) that sits above the Instagram/ridge viewpoint and has an even better view towards the circus, and this one does not require to walk along the slopes. So, definitely go there next time! ☺️
Great selection of music and quality video footage. The Dolomites look fantastic, but a bit too crowded. Perhaps because it is easy to get there by car?
Many thanks! 🙏 It looks busy because it's August, the highest of seasons. But actually, only the Tre Cime felt crowded, the others were Ok even during this hot month.
@@markusrosehillGood to know. Btw., one thing I noticed in some of your videos are some persistent sensor dust spots right of the top left corner. I've noticed them in a couple of videos, but otherwise great stuff :)
The Dolomites are indeed beautiful! I have only been skiing the in area as Austria is more accessible for summer hikes. To me, any hike that is crowded is a place to avoid but to each their own...
Generally, I also try to avoid crowded touristy places, that’s what you’ll see in most of my videos where I either pick more remote areas or go in off-season. But the Dolomites were a rather spontanious opportunity so I went in the highest of seasons, in August.
My husband and I visited the Dolomites on our honeymoon. Unfortunately we didn't come across video like yours before the trip, and had no idea about these amazing hiking trails. How I wish I could turn back time and do some of the less challenging ones! What views! Well, guess will just have to go back there in the near future. For the upcoming summer we'll go to northern coastal Spain. Will drive from San Sebastian to Santiago de Compostela. Very excited about the Picos de Europa National Park. Do u know of any great trails over there? We're not good at rock/cliff climbing BTW. Tks for uploading these amazing videos. :)
We're glad our content has been useful, although a bit too late. But yes, you should go back and do more hiking in the Dolomites! 🙂 Regarding Picos de Europa - it hasn't been on our list yet, we did the Pyrenees of which there's a video available, if you haven't watched it already. But part of our research is checking through the AllTrails app which has user reviews. So I recommend starting there.
Thanks! As far as I know, Spring is the lowest season in the Dolomites. And the Caldini di Misurina viewpoint is 30-60min from the parking lot, depending on your speed.

You're welcome. Thanks for watching! I'm glad my videos encourage people to go out into the nature and visit these hiking areas. You'll love the Dolomites. 🙂 How long do these hikes take? That is very individual to the shape of the hiker. But as a rule of thumb - in 1h you can usually walk 3-4 km.
Beautiful video and excellent job of showcasing the 5 different amazing hikes. What month did you go? Also, do you know the distance for each hike by chance?
Thanks Melissa! We used the DJI Mini 2 drone and two cameras - the Sony a6500 for main shots and DJI Pocket 2 as an Action cam. The favourite hike is the last one, the Cadini di Misurina for the views. But if only one could do be done, it would probably be Seceda (as Cadini di Misurina is very short).
Yes, there are hotels in Cortina d'Ampezzo, but I guess you have to book them well in advance in high season. Best time to see? In high season you'll have to come very early - around 7AM and still wait in line. In other seasons it's less crowded, I guess. We were there in Mid-August.
