During this session of Food Industry Virtual Office Hours, two speakers presented on PFAS. Dr. Natalie Capiro, Assistant Professor at Cornell University, presented first to give an overview of PFAS. Next, Conor Shea, P.E. from the New York State (NYS) Department of Environmental Conservation, discussed NYS's regulation that restricts the use of PFAS in food packaging.
