It'll be more fun when I can take it to a range that'll let me throw something other than 1 oz slugs through it, haha. I shot it at TNT which has an indoor skeet/trap range, but I want to get it broken in before throwing high velocity birdshot through it. So, I took it to the 25 yard indoor range and put a few 1 oz slugs downrange. In short, it hurts like hell to shoot slugs, lol. The hard plastic butt pad has zero recoil mitigation, and even the gun's heavy weight and gas operated mechanism couldn't tame it that much. Part of my build on this will be to improve that recoil, so stay tuned for much more testing and modifications!
How does it operate with the barrel cut down?
The gas system and receiver looks alot like the Beretta 390 except mag fed

It almost looks like you could add a pump forend to it.... I have one of these. Do think that is possible?
You could certainly custom fabricate something along those lines, but it would be a VERY custom endeavor.
Watching various vids, it appears that the older models ad a bolt that locked in the rear position after the last round. Mine doesnt
the bolt hold open feature was part of the magazine design, theu have a lip that holds the bolt back. once you eject the mag it closes
