Jonathan, I assume if I am swinging too far inside to out , I need to correct this first?
This is exactly what I figured out when learning basic swings but no one on TH-cam really talks about unless I search low point. For me personally it feels like rotating while holding a kid hand to hand. The faster you rotate the higher the kid flys in the air and thus doesn’t touch the ground with his feet.
you could practice throwing them down the fairway, might help your release

Hi Jonathan. Your videos always give such a thorough explanation. I have been trying to do just this, however I find the golf ball pulling left. I’m unsure if it’s body position (I think it’s called spinning out?) or if the club face is now too closed. It would be great if you could point to me one of your videos that addresses this. I can’t seem to locate one. Thank you!
It is difficult to be sure but what you describe would mean you start the active rotation too early, not lettering your arms fall. In the transition you should not actively turn but use the tension built in your backswing to turn your hips back to their starting position while your arms drop the club to hip height.

Finally! An explanation for why I bottom out way behind the ball every time I try to swing easy and freely.
Good tips, but not sure accelerating through the ball with putting is correct? Surely you want the same speed throughout

I am practicing hitting the ball at 1pm / extending my swing. So I set up with my club face to the left and a bit back forcing me to extend when making contact with the golf ball. Your thoughts on this. Thanks

What do you give up by copying Bryson’s wrist condition at setup?
the only time I use Bryson's wrist condition is for little chips around the green so I don't get the heel of the club to dig in.
