I just got my crown after root canal on my molar ,and the upper teeth keep on colliding with the crown which is uncomfortable ,should I go again to the dentist
The one about the permanent crown I can say is true, I remember being told to avoid foods like that for awhile and I’ve been eating sticky and chewy or whatever foods for years now since I don’t have to anymore but I’m still careful when eating cuz I don’t want it coming off one day, especially when I’m an adult cuz I’ll be paying for it then, I didn’t pay for it cuz I was 12 but I obviously did get into a lot of trouble which meant no phone from October when it happened to January or December but most likely January which I get cuz It was a lot of money and I ran into and bit a coffee table in my room cuz I got mad at my younger sister and apparently technically got introuble for not taking my adhd meds even tho it doesn’t help with anger but is still fair
im 12 and getting a root canal on the 28 did you get the crown after a root canal procedure or was it a chipped tooth if it was a root canal procedure can you still feel that tooth and does doing stuff like eating gum still feel normal
I had a crown yesterday and looks like it is hurting the tooth above it.as soon as I try to bite i think I need to trim it according to the upper tooth
Is it normal to feel a little weird after getting a permanent crown ? I got my permanent crown yesterday and it feels a bit weird.. Moreover the dental crown feels a bit heavy... I don't know how to describe this feeling... And I'm getting worried..
@@y.c4828 yeah now it's good... I went to the dentist on the 4th day I think... She levelled the crown so chewing was less painful... As of now there's no weird feeling
No tell your dentist to grind it down. 3 out 4 dentists I've been to makes the crown larger than my original tooth. It can cause health issues even make your spine crooked.
yeah, problem with this is the scans are not at all acccurate compared to mold. Because 99% of people using the Cerec/software are not well trained or good at it. Margin of error creates problems.
I’m a dental assistant and I will never have a crown done at the same day. My dentist sent the molds to the labs. The labs are experts in doing their job. I hate the Cerec or Serona scanners. They are not accurate in my opinion.
My front tooth broke. I got 3 teeth crowns, all were done in 3 visits, and 3 days. I got a screw tooth for the broken one and the other 2 were made to look like shark teeth on Saturday, after lunch same day temporary crown was placed and Monday after 1 pm I got my permanent crown done. My jaw was hurting I felt like my teeth is touching but after the visit, a few doctors looked and said that all good, just a jaw issue and gave me some muscle relaxation med for the night strange. In reality, I cry thinking that it was not good to get crow in the first place... but no way back...
Hi Doctor, should i consider a dental crown if i will avoid chewing on it. I ve just had my root canals done on a molar #6. Now i saw videos with many warning on a crown , its too much work. Thanks.
I just got one and to be honest it's not that bad! I have my temporary crown in right now, until I go back in a week or so to get the permanent one. I have just chewed on the other side and honestly not even flossed around it because I dont wanna risk it coming out! I say get it, but its your choice! haha

My permanent crown hurts.... And it's very sensitive to touch it! I had a root canal filling three months ago and crown on last month. Will the pain ever go away? I can't eat on it at all and cleaning it even hurts a little 😔 😥 💔 😢 😔
so i ate a jolly rancher and bit down on my permanent crown. it felt like the crown came off but it didn’t. so that night i ended up flossing the tooth and felt the same thing.

Yes almost all dentists make the crown larger than your original tooth it will cause problems to your health if not fixed.
