That's great. I got mine with I was 14 and I am 54 now. Still great!
It means that in a few or max a decade you will require a reinstallation and guess what, the real teeth will be way weaker than in 19 thanks to removing its natural protection, i really hope its not the case for you.

My teeth not that bad at all just not the size how it should be and dentist recommends crowns. Veneers are good but i have history of grinding teeth.

I suggest you don’t decide based on a video. Crowns mean a lot of shaving of natural teeth. Best to see a good dentist first.
I got my 8 top-front teeth done in crowns. I regret getting them. So sad I can never recover my natural teeth having them shaved off so much. I had large gaps between my teeth, should have just accepted my look. I was young and didn't think it through.
Why did you regret it?

Can I have crowns & veneers? I’ve had cracked 3 teeth when I was a kid so I have 3 crowns but I would like to have them upgraded & with veneers but those 3 teeth are too badly damaged for a veneer. Can I have 3 crowns & the rest veneers?
You cannot go back to veneers from crowns. You can, however, renew the crowns if you are not happy with them, and get veneers for the rest of your teeth in the matching color.
I’ve gone down this rabbit hole because my tooth and crown snapped and are hanging by hopes and dreams right now. But when I got my crowns, my mom who was an RM for a dental chain told me to whiten my teeth beforehand so I can get the lightest swatch that would look right on me. The information that is different is I was told that porcelain (that material used for my crowns) CAN stain. However, it can be whitened back to its original color but no lighter. What you’re saying is that they don’t stain, but mine stain just like my natural teeth and whiten just like them. I’m curious as to why that is? Difference in material?
I mean they do whiten back up to where they were so I have no complaints. And they really did last 10 years 😂
I dont want to ask anything inappropriate to my wonderful dentist but I'm set to get a crown over a molar that has a crack and 6veneers in front. No insurance. If I'm paying cash do dentist maybe offer a discount?
This is my 2nd set of veneers. 1st time was in 90s and they 100% did discolor. I've chipped 2 so I have to have new ones.

My ortho wants nothing to do with cosmetics , made me sad.
So true mine is the same way, I have to get three crowns in my front teeth and my dentist acts like she does not want to give me the whitest shade. My teeth are yellow because I haven’t whiten them in two years, but I’m going to whiten my teeth so they will match, but it’s like, she wants nothing to do with the cosmetic reasons or just yellow crowns for my current yellow teeth. Upsets me cause they should honor what you want.
