How come bullets don't hit you? When an enemy fires at me I instantly lose my combo
Try to always move and target the person holding the gun. If takedown is available, use it immediately because the bullets won't hit you while you're doing it
He uses takedowns at perfect moments its like a dance youl get use to it
Mods or cheats..
The first burst of bullets from an npc's weapon is designed to be a warning shot that wont hit you.

I love how this “impossible room” in origins is just a normal militia watchtower in Arkham knight, it just goes to show how far Batman has come.
There isn’t a single watchtower that has 17 armed men in an enclosed space like that

It's always funnier to accomplish the "impossible room" challenge because Branden is in the middle of telling the SWAT team to kill Batman at first sight so they can get the bounty, only for Batman to appear from above and kick all their butts lol I bet after that moment his ego was as hurt as his ribs witnessing how Batman defeated a whole team of armed men like nothing.
Adding insult to injury. He doesn’t kill a single one because, of his rule. I would just join him after that beat down 😂

The funniest part about this section in the game is that you can knock Brandon out about 3 times in the time span of like 15 minutes, like, dude just stay on the floor and go to sleep 😂
I did this as well on one of my playthroughs because branded annoyed the hell out of me, although it wasn't a no-hit combo. I wish though that clearing out this room would've triggered different dialogue from branden and the other swat officers during the rest of the game, especially the one where batman frees then knocks branded out in Joker's funland in the hotel. That would've been a nice reward for being a badass in clearing that room out.

That developers likely didn't anticipate. People would actually be able to clear the room.
Which I don't really understand given like how insane the players have shown themselves to be in terms of combat by this point.
The weird part is that when u do beat all those guys you don’t even get a trophy
It they had a trophy it should be called "beating the odds" I think that would be cool
it should've been a hidden trophy for added effect

@@Dwayne_19K His point goes like this. Deathstroke can defeat those guys by himself. If Batman can defeat Deathstroke, then Batman can take on these guys alone as well.
A one on one fight is a very different beast to a brawl against over a dozen opponents.

2. The one on one fight, was with DEATHSTROKE.
When I first came to this point, I was playing around and joking with my wife and didn't notice when Batman said he wouldn't survive fighting those guys. So, naturally, I fought them. I didn't do as good as this guy did but was very happy when I giot through. Second playthrough caught when he said it.
Kinda reminds me how one time my buddy and I were playing search and destroy in black ops and we forget we were playing that mode and that we only had one life so we rushed to the other side of the map unaware but, actually ended up taking out some of the other team so it worked out XD
Same here. 12 y/o me didn't hear what he said and went straight thinking it was a difficult combat section.

@@blue1133 Nah the key is good freeflow bc each hit knocks an enemy down(dropping their weapon) making it slightly easier each hit
@@appstorr9013 but he's talking about NG+ where not only the enemies are armed but they're also wearing body armor so you can't hit them directly, by quick throwing concussion detonators you create enough distraction to use stun cape and beat down until you reach x5 and takedown enemies one by one while making sure to counter any enemy who gets close and if concentrated enough apply the knife-counter takedown to the ones using knives.

The room isn’t that hard. You just need max body armour and prioritize the SWAT picking up guns. A better way to start the fight is to sneak up behind the group and do a double takedown. However beating it with no damage is a feat and I congratulate you.

I Am The Night Mode is even more stressing since you can't slack around or it's a perma death

Absoloutely awesome. I remember getting caught by the guards in this room during my first play through and being absoloutely screwed as a child at the time.
Seeing them get absoloutely destroyed, even if not by me, is so damn satisfying.

Ok, this is insanely impressive. You did in a perfect combo, barely any gadgets, no critical strike, no free flow and no special combo boost. Just bare knuckles perfection.
If I were to attempt this, I’d play safe with special combo boost, frequent batarangs and batclaw disarms. My hat is off to you sir. In this play through, You really gave Brandon more than one score to settle with the Bat!
This was sweet. Seeing Batman do all his techniques is like art. While some may be outlandish it’s always nice to see the moves in its entirety as it’s just so smooth
I remember testing this out thinking they literally made it impossible, but then somehow, I got it after hours of trying. If they ever remake the game, this needs to be an achievement

Way harder but more satisfying
And also the room where you find Barbara Gordon and they smoke you out
If you beat everyone in that though you can’t leave the room from the way they came in… such a shame

I think plot wise this is one of those times batman knew he needed to get better or figure out a way to stand some chance against this many dudes and guns. Which is awesome seeing how many gadgets and techniques he has by Arkham Knight, you could go for hours fighting waves of enemies face to face or in stealth by then
I played this game allot on my ps3. This game was really under the radar for soo long.
Boss fights were very satisfying in this game.
Hopefully they make a next arkham game like arkham knights

2. the first burst of gunfire from any enemy always miss, as sort of "warning shots".

When I played for the first time on Normal I just listened to what Batman said and left them. But replaying on Hard recently I thought maybe I'd stand a chance if I throw a smoke pellet in the dead center. After that and many, many concussion detonators, I managed to survive with only a sliver a health. This is *way* more impressive than that.

It's new game mode with indicators, so nothing impossible here for advanced player. If you would do this in a new game plus without indicators it would be really impressive. Besides, I don't see the point not to use gadgets.
That's how he got the S grade of apex predator. Using gadgets will only give you an A grade

@@chaoticstarfish3401 it makes it seem more natural I guess, the Batman in comics didn't go around spraying explosive gel, throwing batarangs,, using disruptor. Smoke pellets and batclaw he did but rarely in a hand to hand fight against goons. Plus the difficulty increases.
I once accidentally alerted all those guys and things were slot messier than here. Nice job!

There are some mass fights in Arkham night bigger and badder than this, but this was pretty cool - nicely done. That is what a love the most about the Batman: Arkham games - some very satifying beatdowns.

Chuck out Fleaker's NG+ run. There are bugs you can't avoid, but it's insanely sick
I'm surprised you didn't use critical hits. Doubles your damage and increases your combo by 2. Personally it's my favorite upgrade. That and the weapon disable technique.

I did this myself on ng+ without damage. Mostly through multi ground takedown.
On all the Arkham games ng+ is actually easier because you have all your gadgets (most anyway). But then again Ive played this game like a billion times lol
Tried this. . . a lot of times on the upper difficulty. Finally got it but not having the attack signals above the enemy heads made it such a pain in the ass.
Perfect use of Takedown I frames, the sheer timing needed to actually pull this off is insane, gg.

Well damn. I cleared the room on the highest difficulty but I definitely used the weapon jammer and smoke bomb lol.
Gameplay that becomes seamlessly cinematic is awesome. Chef's kiss gameplay right here.

This would be a lot easier if the game didn't make you wait til the end of the Byrd mission to unlock the weapon disarm ability. It's so stupid that you have to wait that long, it's my most relied on technique in Arkham games.

This reminds of Arkham Asylum where the Joker arranged his thugs to welcome you when you're close to finishing the game. You have the choice of either heading into entrance or beat up everybody. This one fight is a 2.0 version in my opinion.

Back when I had my PS3 I saw this room for the first time and much like you went "bet" when Bruce said this. In my eyes there's no challenge Batman can't overcome. And so I jumped down there and got ran through like a Papa John's drive through on Superbowl night.
But I didn't stop. I kept going back. I saved the point where Batman was atop the tightrope and kept going over and over and over and over again. Every single day for a whole month. Each time improving my technique and counter timing. By the end of it I finally finished with a C. But with how tough it was and how overly exposed I was to mock combat with mobs the rest of the fighting areas in the game was piss easy until I got to Bane.
I don't mind questioning Batman's humanity.
Batman: "turns out I will stand a chance against that many armed men. Noted."
The disarm and destroy ability is one of my favorites to clear out weapons especially important when dealing with shields
