In Arkham city right before the big reveal, joker asked how do you keep a secret from the world's greatest detective. He answered, you place it right in front of him. Jason has been front of Bruce this whole time.
In Arkham Knight, Batman has to figure out the identity of the Arkham Knight, Batman will never find out until he gets jason's mask off The joker was right when he said that about Bruce because not even the greatest detective could guess the Arkam Knight's identity even when the answer was in front of him the whole time
I love how the video is portrayed as Batman returning to the abandoned Asylum after years and putting together what happened to Jason through all the clues he missed.
Imagine if we got Arkham Knight DLC that takes place before Scarecrow's defeat: We get to fully explore a recreated map of Arkham Asylum's Arkham Island, Have some militia as our enemies in the old predator/combat rooms (they're doing a sweep of the place before 'Crow captures the Bat), and we're there to piece Jason's capture together just like this video, and the op's idea. The asylum was still active when Jason was being tortured he escaped while Batman and Joker were fighting on the roof of the penitentiary at the end if anyone didn't know it was actually Deathstroke who helped Jason escape
I mean you'd assume he was an actual physician at Arkham but then in Arkham City he's supposedly part of the medical unit (new guy, low profile as described by his colleagues) there before peeling his own face off and then committing the identity murders, not to mention that cheap plan that was his endgame all along in Knight. plus you've got pieces of lore in Asylum that hint toward a much lengthier career for Batman and descriptions for the numerous foes that he's supposedly faced over the years that he later proceeds to encounter for the first time in later games (i.e. Hush, Hugo Strange etc.). not trying to shit on Rocksteady or anything but some of the pieces are missing and/or add up.
The part in Arkham Knight when joker showed the picture of Batman and the new robin who was Tim Drake. Joker tells Jason he’s been replaced cause he’s a twisted serial killer but I always like to think Bruce was searching every night up until that video and took in a new Robin because he was desperate and wanted as many eyes out in the field as possible and needed all the help he could get.
My heart literally cramped while I was watching this video. Jason has been my favourite character for a long time now and seeing this video just made me feel so bad for him.
not only was jason held at arkham for a point, he was actually being held there during the events of arkham asylum, however during batman and titan jokers final confrontation jason escaped from the island with deathstroke, they then went to wayne industries where jason stole some money and gave it to deathstroke, and a super interesting part about this is tim drake would actually catch jason and deathstroke doing this, but tim didnt know it was jason since he was wearing deathstrokes mask, and there is actually alot more interesting stuff about jason in the arkham series, like how he was actually also in arkham city during the events of that game and was watching batman and joker, and during his time here he would actually run into joker where joker would strike a conversation with him

The timeline works if you think of Jason having just been "killed" (Joker sent footage of Jason dying) *just* before Arkham Asylum, if Dick is already Nightwing, and you look at the "A Matter of Family" DLC as a nice dream Barbara has after getting engaged to Tim (why else would a Starro be in that one vent?). Seeing blood that seems a bit old, but not cleaned yet, that could very plausibly be Jason's in the Asylum made me think this way. It could factor into my big "obviously not what the canon intended but is fun to think about" theory. Thank you.
This just made this game a whole lot creepier and haunting. But love this game. Each character has a whole lot of backstory and those are actually showed as references in arkham series. The perfection and attention to detail is mind blowing ❤️
I believe the names on the board (1:44) were for the appointments each villain made to torture and humiliate Jason Todd. It’s been confirmed in the Arkham comics
Mad. I've seen multiple such vidoes, but none compare to this one. The evidences you brought forth to show where exactly, in Arkham Asylum, Jason was being held captive are absolutely amazing. One can clearly see the resemblances between the rooms from the AK flashbacks and AA actual rooms. World's greatest detective.
It shocked me really when people went though and brighten up the videos of Jason from Arkham knight. Reason being how rocksteady did a full circle with there game series. Here is what I mean. In Arkham asylum from 2009 was a fun game. Main villains to fight of course but what I really enjoyed about Arkham to this day is the hidden Easter eggs. Like the office of Quincy sharp hinting Arkham city years before it was to come out. This clip here of showing where Jason was in the first Arkham game and many others. It all ties great
The thought that Jason was likely in the bowels of the Asylum while batman was beating the crap out of joker makes that game even darker. I say likely as they never go into specifics on when he finally got out, or I just missed that part.

1:53 Did u know the Thomas Elliot riddle has another riddle hidden on it? Look on the botton right under nurses. The ones with non days like Mon or Tuesday. The Ones under the R for Oliver queen and Jason Peter todd
Jason was kept underground in a abandoned wing of the asylum, a place only he, Jake boles and Quinn knew about. He wasn’t tortured there, that place was for the video. And that cell, that might have been used but not a lot or the doctors would notice him. He had to be underground on a abandoned wing of the asylum.
This whole video is giving me horror vibes especially with Batman slowly walking around in the asylum by himself plus these scene transitions at the highest volume just make my heart skip a beat every time they occur
The location as seen at 1:09 appears to be from Arkham remastered... has anyone considered going to this spot on the the challenge map from Arkham Knight or the original release of asylum to see if there is any difference?...
The moment in Arkham Knight after the stealth battle where Bruce is about to batter him but can’t bring himself to do it has so much emotional weight. It’s hard to blame Jason for anything he did, to Bruce or the city that made his life hell
Interesting fact: in Arkham Origins you can see Batman's investigation about Red Hood in Batcave with some newspaper clippings about him. But i think there's might be some plot hole cause Joker said Batman appeared 2 years ago before AO plot.
Jason never actually died in this universe, joker put a bulletproof vest on him then locked him in an abandoned wing of the asylum which I still have no idea where that is
In asylum you know that giant padlock door that is locked the whole time where as every other padlock door leads to a different wing? I'm assuming it's there
There are also writings from Jason in the gardens where shut off the power. If you go up the ladder where the riddler trophy is along the wall you see it. Just zoom in. I believe he's making reference to the archam knight game
Look at the thomas Elliot riddle in arkham asylum. Nurse nine. But also look what else was there. Oliver(R),Queen(R) and J.peter(R). It looks like he was dragged out of that room but was able to get a message on the board. Which hints to green arrows real name and Jason Peter Todd's full name.
watching this is really making me sad and felt sorry to jason. cause he's been tortured by joker, got locked up without anyone else around and feel alone, and worse of all he's been alone with joker in there for a year thinking that bruce forget about him but he didn't
Guys I found the exact place where jason was in arkham asylum .....he was in the record wing of arkham mansion not the record office, the hall. Just on the opposite side of dr.youngs office which can be visited through bringing down the wall with batclaw, when you find the trophy, you can see rocks shattered and behind them is a staircase going downwards where jason was throughout the game
The timeline for when Jason’s torture began is what I want to know, considering it did last two years and was shown to have happened before the Batgirl DLC in Knight, and apparently in the comics the night of Joker taking over the asylum, Jason ended up escaping with Deathstroke. It also begs the question when did Joker and Harley meet after Joker began torturing Jason? Because based on Harley’s dialogue when she has Tim cornered, she was never a contributor to Jason’s suffering, just told what happened by Joker. Maybe Joker was still torturing him, but kept it a secret from Harley just so he could be the only one having his fun with Jason? Because remember in Asylum if you enter the building where you first come across Scarecrow and Bane where Harley’s at, Joker says, “What’s he doing here? It’s too early!”, and it was proven Joker moved him around all different parts of the Asylum. Maybe Joker needed a bit of time to move Jason before Batman got in so he wouldn’t find Jason?
Nope. Harley was involved in Jason’s torture, alongside: Penguin, Two Face, Killer Croc, Bane, Zzsas, Calendar Man, and even Scarecrow whom all physically beat and emotionally tormented Jason.
Wow, I've been playing Arkham Asylum for years as it's my favourite video game of all time and yet I never noticed that cell with the drawings inside it.
In Arkham city right before the big reveal, joker asked how do you keep a secret from the world's greatest detective. He answered, you place it right in front of him. Jason has been front of Bruce this whole time.
what do u mean?
In Arkham Knight, Batman has to figure out the identity of the Arkham Knight, Batman will never find out until he gets jason's mask off
The joker was right when he said that about Bruce because not even the greatest detective could guess the Arkam Knight's identity even when the answer was in front of him the whole time

I'd find it interesting if Jason was behind that. Like if Joker put him there and Jason somehow got out. Anyway great video keep it up and I'm surprised you read this whole comment. This is awesome, but I remember hearing that Jason was tortured when Arkham asylum was abandoned and nobody was in there?
It was when people were there too as a corrupt guard helped Joker torture Jason
Jason said and abandoned *wing* at Arkham, not while Arkham was totally defunct.
@Alex Nutman 😄
It was definitely during it was open cause joker mentions to batman when you are going to save Gordon that he might give you Harley cause batman was without a sidekick
The asylum was still active when Jason was being tortured he escaped while Batman and Joker were fighting on the roof of the penitentiary at the end if anyone didn't know it was actually Deathstroke who helped Jason escape
Doctor Thomas Elliot was on the white board they really knew what they were gonna do
I mean you'd assume he was an actual physician at Arkham but then in Arkham City he's supposedly part of the medical unit (new guy, low profile as described by his colleagues) there before peeling his own face off and then committing the identity murders, not to mention that cheap plan that was his endgame all along in Knight. plus you've got pieces of lore in Asylum that hint toward a much lengthier career for Batman and descriptions for the numerous foes that he's supposedly faced over the years that he later proceeds to encounter for the first time in later games (i.e. Hush, Hugo Strange etc.). not trying to shit on Rocksteady or anything but some of the pieces are missing and/or add up.
There's also Warren White aka Great White Shark... Shame we didn't get him in any game
It's canon that he hired tim specifically to find jason.

This is amazing, makes you wonder what other small details we may have missed!
Not to mention the entire first half of Arkham asylum Harley Quinn is wearing Jason Todd’s old Robin eye mask
If you listen closely you can still hear the screams of Jason, echo throughout the halls of the abandoned facility of the asylum.

This hit me right in the feels. Thank you for this dude. Subscribed
Thank you.
I can’t believe they had shown all the stuff about Jason years before he was even shown in the Arkham games

It all ties great
I like how that had "Arkham Night" shift on the top of the board with Jason's name at number 9 foreshadowing the 3rd game.
The thought that Jason was likely in the bowels of the Asylum while batman was beating the crap out of joker makes that game even darker. I say likely as they never go into specifics on when he finally got out, or I just missed that part.
He actually got out before the events of Arkham city
@@fizzx1832 like I said, missed that part lol
The bats at 3:18 scared the shit out of me😂
The one riddle Batman couldn’t solve
My theory is that Thomas Elliott let joker in the asylum to torture Jason
I read on the wiki since frank boles was his mole he would let Joker torture Jason.

This explains why Joker told Harley not to remove Batman's mask in Arkham City. Jason must have told Joker everything.
No joker doesn't care about Batman's identity
Joker shot Jason before he said the identity of batman
The messed up thing is that Batman and Jason were actually in the same place at the same time it's just that Joker kept moving Jason around so Batman couldn't see him
Man, I always knew Arkham Asylum was dark and creepy asf, but damn!!! Knowing that there’s some references to Jason Todd makes it even more scarier and creepier than a horror film
1:53 Did u know the Thomas Elliot riddle has another riddle hidden on it? Look on the botton right under nurses. The ones with non days like Mon or Tuesday. The Ones under the R for Oliver queen and Jason Peter todd
The atmosphere in this game is so good
I didn't realize how dark and terrifying the Arkham series was. Now I really know.
There’s another place in the asylum with a spinning wheelchair in the Arkham mansion and it has similar markings to the ones in the flash back
Arkham series is the most detailed series I think I’ve played. You wouldn’t know all these Easter eggs without the internet
I'm thinking maybe the "extreme isolation" area that the first titan thug comes from
@@everlels7608 Maybe.
This whole video is giving me horror vibes especially with Batman slowly walking around in the asylum by himself plus these scene transitions at the highest volume just make my heart skip a beat every time they occur
I mean it is a mental asylum so it would be scary by default
If Batman was “the world’s greatest detective” why couldn’t he DETECT were Jason was?
2:33 those scribbles are actually in a lot of different cells in Arkham Asylum.
The location as seen at 1:09 appears to be from Arkham remastered... has anyone considered going to this spot on the the challenge map from Arkham Knight or the original release of asylum to see if there is any difference?...
I’ll do it later and let you know g
In the challenge map there is nothing there other than half a wall and a desk
Any update on the original game?

The moment in Arkham Knight after the stealth battle where Bruce is about to batter him but can’t bring himself to do it has so much emotional weight. It’s hard to blame Jason for anything he did, to Bruce or the city that made his life hell
The patients were Mad Hatter, Clayface, Great White Shark and Firefly, with one of the doctors being Hush
Amazing find! Death in the Family is one of the greatest & most tragic stories in Batman history
Interesting fact: in Arkham Origins you can see Batman's investigation about Red Hood in Batcave with some newspaper clippings about him. But i think there's might be some plot hole cause Joker said Batman appeared 2 years ago before AO plot.
The graphics are actually buttery
god they needa make a game about jason todds backstory bro id pay a fortune to play that game
It is so creepy that he was with us this whole time and we didn't notice, it is so freaking sad and creepy like damn bro
Jason "died" in an abandoned Arkham wing and this place isn't abandoned
Imagine knowing batman can call superman to find jason but never did
Batman’s way to stubborn to call him
@Drizzy Dre nope
Definitely not
Where would be fun in that?
Batman didn’t do anything because he thought Jason was dead
Joker literally sent Bruce a video of him killing Jason
All Batman could think was Jason was in the city but he was right under his nose in Arkham asylum
1:43 i just realized why jason calls himself ‘The Arkham Knight’
Damn, seeing this video makes The Arkham Asylum game even more disturbing, intriguing and more creepier
Jason never actually died in this universe, joker put a bulletproof vest on him then locked him in an abandoned wing of the asylum which I still have no idea where that is
In asylum you know that giant padlock door that is locked the whole time where as every other padlock door leads to a different wing? I'm assuming it's there
Let’s not ignore the hush reference aswell
There are also writings from Jason in the gardens where shut off the power. If you go up the ladder where the riddler trophy is along the wall you see it. Just zoom in. I believe he's making reference to the archam knight game
4:25 "I'm not you sidekick anymore" lol
That’s the exact location if u go into challenges and then the first stealth challenge Batman starts in that exact spot
That just goes to show jokers true nature. He’s done many horrible things even to Batman himself.
watching this is really making me sad and felt sorry to jason. cause he's been tortured by joker, got locked up without anyone else around and feel alone, and worse of all he's been alone with joker in there for a year thinking that bruce forget about him but he didn't
If batman is the world's greatest detective why couldn't he solve this
Because he thought Jason was dead at the time
How to fool the world's greatest detective
To put the clue right in front of him
@@thedragonofechigo7878 "...right under his long, pointy nose, and wait!"
Guys I found the exact place where jason was in arkham asylum
.....he was in the record wing of arkham mansion not the record office, the hall. Just on the opposite side of dr.youngs office which can be visited through bringing down the wall with batclaw, when you find the trophy, you can see rocks shattered and behind them is a staircase going downwards where jason was throughout the game
Are you sure
In arkham knight it actually shows he was shot by the joker for trying to reveal batmans identity in wayne tower.
